    Re: April 12th

    oy! slightly manic greetings ABeroooos!

been so many crazy ups and a lot of nasty downs lately but I'm happyish and healthy thank goodness so no complaints of
a critical nature. Pauly, send a pic of Spencer so I can keep a lookout.
PPQ thanks much, nothing drastic to speak of but did get a book I ordered on raising kids with behavioral disorders and it's a relief
just knowing that someone (the author) really knows the problems and how to correct them. Darlene and I are right in the middle of it
and reading like people on a mission... because we are! I came home last night after a refuge meeting and to my utter shock and amazement
Darlene and girly were at the kitchen table playing scrabble. holy crap.... yay. and girly acknowledged me as a human last night with verbal communications
so that's interesting. these rays of light keep me going forward. whew. slept better last night
Doing work on our T shirt/graphic design site again with new art up as of yesterday. If anyone wants to see our fledgling rebeginnings of it: Xanguard Design | Teespring
I need to get a couple items sold so that I get our account out of review and 'confirmed' which I didn't know was the reason our site won't come up on a search on teespring. so annoying!
learning so many things every day. Just set up another Instagram account for it a few min ago. I feel like such a curmudgeon but I'm learning.
Been furiously practicing my glidecam skills on a borrowed glidecam HD2000 from a friend as I have a cinematic video shoot at a property this morning that I'm packing up for now. Good to
have 'some' work on in this very slow work time. Pauly I hope I get to video that huge house you saw. yes they are head-scratchingly rediculous eh?

Mick, where is the post for Flossie? sorry I'm not quite tracking.

Treegirl, strength to you and yours dear

shouts to the whole crew... back in a couple hours...

    be well loves

        Re: April 12th

        Greetings Abbers,

Just back from my doggie walk & now I’m sneezing my head off, haha! The allergens are out & about in full force!
Spent another day sewing masks, have more to do later. Someday I’ll be done or caught up or whatever

Sam, I’m keeping any eye out for ticks here as well. I don’t want to deal with Lyme disease any time soon. Hope your day was good!

Pauly, get her to shorten the elastic on your mask a bit. One size really does not fit all with these things.
I’m really sorry about Spencer. Does he have a chip or tag on with your phone #. My dog has both because she does get to wandering at times. I hope you hear something soon.

PQ, I’ve come to admire the Amish, for the most part after living here the past 17 years. They are honest & hard working & will do anything to help someone. But their stubborn refusal to listen to new ideas, especially science related is going to be their downfall if they’re not careful. A guy called YB while we were eating dinner just to say hello & get the news on Covid cases in our county. Maybe, just maybe they will see the light. Sorry about your snow, doesn’t seem very fair considering we’re halfway thru April.

Det, glad to hear things are easing up a bit with the teen. I know it’s a 24/7 issue with them & it’s exhausting. I hope your video shoot went well today. I’ll take a look at the T’s when I’m done here

Cyn, hello to you & I hope your day was good!

OK, time to go back to the machine for a few more hours.
        Have a nice night all!

        Lav

          Mae all-

Good to hear how e erythingmis goingmformyou all. Pauly,,so sorry about Sp nicer, I really hope he gets back to,you!! I have trouble with masks too - they are generally too big... my 10 year-old grandniece just sent a package of them... we'll see how that works! Lav, aren't you dedicated, to sew so many!? Take care of your body Nd your eyes. Sad to hear about the Amish... they will learn the hard way... Det, you Re amazing all the ways you are always learning new things- glad to hear about girlie acting like a human! Good luck with the t-shirts, I will, try to,remember to,check them out! Mick, glad that you provided the peskies with a fun house ! Hope you continue to feel well-er. PPQ, so sorry about the snow - that is totally unfair! I like your idea of walking, I hope that you can find a way to do that. Sam, I have pulled 2 ticks off of me already! And I wear high boots and only walk on short grass when walking the dog - this is nuts. One bite I got at right away, but it became a nasty infection... these are mean little critters! Be careful!

All OK here... hubs seems to be disheartened and/or frustrated with this winding down of the virus. Although our temps are in normal range, we both are still having big night sweats, so who knows. Day 25 today, since the first fevers onset. Who can blame him for being frustrated? I am not angelic at this point,,, I am ready to move beyond a primary care-giver, and he is trying each day to do more... so I must be patient! Lav, the weird thing is that his oxygen levels are good, even when without oxygen for as much as 7 minutes... 96%. BUT his heart rate goes quickly up to about 100. His resting heart rate isaround 83 a 86... doesn't that sound high to you? Since there seem to be heart issues with or without that drug therapy, I am concerned... I hate to think of his heart working so hard all the time... I guess we will see at some point. Got a canister of o2 today with a roller, so we are mobile if we need to go see a specialist...

Wishing all well and able to find slivers of goodness each day!

Mae everybody, Mick that pic is hilarious PQ, glad your son is feeling ok, yes having friends helps, the ham and potato thing came out good yay! Cyn, wow that's a looooong dragged out illness jeez! Hope you and hubs continue to improve, still no Spencer, I called the animal shelter yesterday and she told me that the animal control is only picking up emergency calls like a bite, dead animals and such, so he's probably not there but to check the website I don't see him anywhere I'll check again here in a bit, Det, glad it was peaceful at your place yesterdayLav, it's just my ears are floppy or something, I have the issue with all of them and it's annoying, one day I forget my mask and Romeo's shirt was in the backseat so I just put it over my face I'm sure I looked ridiculous but it worked haha, feel sad, sad my dog's lost, sad cuz I don't know what to do when the world does open up, I'm pissed that my boss isn't helping through all this, I'm pissed that the girls I thought were my friends at that shop haven't reached out to even see if I'm ok or say hi one did and that's nice but the one I've worked with for 17 years just sends group texts about unemployment bullshit cuz we're ineligible but she thinks we can get it for some delusional reason, anyways I'm irritated she hasn't asked how I am, maybe I'm just being selfish or maybe she just don't like me, I don't want to go back to that toxic environment but I'm sooooo damn scared of change, guess I'm thinking too far ahead, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Thursday?
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

                MAE ALL...

Lav...well if it isn't the wind that gets you it'll be the allergens, you just can't win. LOL Maybe the younger generation in the Amish community will bring about some change. We may have turned a corner as far as the snow goes, we're going up to 50F today with no snow in the forecast.

TG...looks like walking will work today with the turn in the weather, so tired of the snow. What an ordeal you and hubs have been through. I hope you can figure out what's going on with his heart rate soon. You guys deserve a break.

Pauly...glad the casserole turned out good. Made a shepherd's pie and gotta say it could have been better, a little dry. Fingers crossed you hear something about Spencer today. Just a thought, have you reached out to the girls to see how they are doing? During all of this I've had lots of time to think and wonder how people I haven't talked to for months are doing. Was going to phone my SIL for awhile now but didn't and she called yesterday. It was nice to hear from her. You're like me, thinking ahead. Doesn't get us anywhere does it.

Mick...thank you for acknowledging I'm righteous. LOL Glad to hear you're pacing yourself and listening to your body. They showed Captain Tom Moore on the news this morning so I knew what that was all about, thanks. Managed to stay away from work emails and got two great games of bridge in yesterday.

Shout out to Det and Sam.

                Stay healthy all...:smile:PPQP

                  Re: April 12th

                  Greetings Abbers,

Busy day today but I did get a lot done! Delivered a bag of 30 masks to the hospital today & will finish up the rest & get them out Monday. I have requests from so many people I’m ready to hire a sewing assistant if anyone is interested, haha!! We had snow flurries today & the temp is heading down to 29 degrees tonight. So not Spring-like. Maybe it will freeze the ticks out there.

Cyn, some of us have high resting heart rates for no special reason, I am one of them. There are medications out there to slow it down but they’re not usually used unless there are EKG changes. I'm glad to hear his O2 sat is holding without O2 & he’s getting more interested in doing things. It takes time to heal from these things, you have already figured that out. Take care of yourself & watch out for those nasty ticks!!!

Pauly, I’m sorry your friends aren’t showing concern. I’ve been reaching out to family & friends & a lot of them have been doing the same. I guess we’re all raised differently & some of us have learned the value of empathy & good manners. I was really hoping you had found Spenser today, I’m sorry
Let’s just keep everything stable, one day at a time, right? We cannot control the future, none of us can. Getting thru today & being grateful is a good start. We’ll take care of tomorrow when it gets here, OK?

Mick, since we’re in for a good freeze overnight I’m glad I haven’t planted anything more than some flower seeds. We’re basically told not to plant anything outside until after Mother’s day in May.
YB had a few calls from Amish guys today but they know he’s not budging until at least the end of the month. Our county is still announcing new cases every day. Hope you enjoyed your sunshine today

PQ, so you’re having warmer weather than we are here, haha!! Go figure!!!
You know a lot of the Amish guys YB drives for are younger - like our kid’s ages. They are out going & friendlier but still science poor if you know what i mean.

Det, I loved your designs & ordered myself a hoodie last night, thanks
                  Hope your day was good.

                  Sam, hello to you!

                  Have a nice night everyone!

                    Mae all -

Goodness, I apologize for my typing yesterday... that was a bunch of gobbledegook!

Hope everyone is well - another long day here in convalescent-ville. Yikes it was cold out - recently I have been able to get fresh air and some outdoors space while walking the dog, but today we just bundled up and rushed around... no snow though, whew. I also made headway on a blogging website... finally "bit the bullet" and just hired a wonderful web woman's to figure it all out and get it up and running. I actually wrote Some short pieces as well, so there's progress... that I had started just before we got sick... but hopefully some momentum now as well.

Det - must get some of your stuff! Lav, bless you for those masks! Pauly, just big big hugs coming your way for everything. Mick - take it slow and steady mate, no sense hurrying! PPQ, glad to hear that a walk may be in your not too distant future. Stay safe! Sam, wishing you well -- sorry if I missed someone... mind is a bit sleepy...

To warmth, to light, to togetherness apart!

I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

                          MAE ALL...

Lav...I wondered where the snow went. It's all gone from the streets and by the end of the weekend the rest should be gone. Wow, you're just kicking ass with those masks! I'm glad YB isn't budging. It's getting a little scary with people wanting to end the isolating, I hope wiser minds prevail.

TG...I understood everything you typed, you ain't got nothing on Mick. LOL I'm glad you "bit the bullet" and got things in motion. You'll always have that to take your mind off everything else.

Pauly...sorry there's no word on Spencer yet, I still have my fingers crossed.

Mick...oh well, it's not like you have somewhere to be. But grout, really! I hate that sh*t. Glad you're being responsible about your health and taking it easy when you need to. Yes, avoided work yesterday but not the case today. Have to work on getting information out to the gardeners, the lady working on it is swamped so I'm taking it over. I'll be going into work sometime next week to do some laminating and posting signs in the community garden. I'll feel better when I get that done and everyone is up to date with what's going on.

Did get out for a walk this morning as it's supposed to start raining this afternoon. Keep your chins up....:smile:PPQP

Cyn, I understood your typing too because that’s what mine looks like when I don’t have my glasses on, Lol
Great to hear you got your blog up & running, awesome!
It’s oddly cold here too & it’s been trying to rain for the past 2 hours, geez. Stay warm & well

Pauly, have you tried putting some pictures of Spenser up on utility poles? That’s a big thing around here & I found a lost dog years ago that way.

Mick, bless you! I personally don’t care what color the grout is - for real, haha!!
I’m not getting my walk in today either, maybe tomorrow??

PQ, I am trying to keep my chins up but it’s kinda hard these days. I think I need a turtle neck to help, haha!!
Good to hear you have a melt going on, finally. It’s snowing today in the Pocono Mountains north of here today - they like snow for the ski resorts. I don’t ski, Lol

Hello to Det & Sam, hope you are both well.

Have a nice night everyone. Going back to my sewing machine while my grandson is watching youtube on an ipad!!!

Mae everybody, Mick I don't like white grout cuz it shows every speck of dust and dirt, Julie must be an excellent house keeper haha, just wanted to say that I was thinking of you yesterday and what a sweet, sensitive soul you are and I'm glad I "know" you PQ, you know I hate this shutdown more than anyone and I've been vocal about it BUT the mayor here is pushing the governor to reopen soon and I don't see how opening huge casinos that have an ability to occupy at least 6,000 plus at any given time can safely reopen at this time and are people even gonna be traveling here anyways? And do we want them traveling? No I don't think so, some places have barely seen a peak in infection, take Michigan where they're protesting and DT say open them up yet their cases are on the rise, glad I'm not in charge of any of this shit. Lav, I did text my "friend" yesterday and she didn't answer back so I text her later askin if she was pissed at me, answer was a short "no I'm busy helping my son with school, we're all fine not sick yet" that was it, witch... Cyn, hope all is well, shout out to Det and Sam wishes for a great BF Saturday for us all!
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!
