I originate from N/Ireland, but have never lived there, my Dad did. It really doesn't matter
where we originate from the problem is the same worldwide. Keep coming back to this
Cosmopolitan site and you will realise how helpful it is. If you are determined to make it
you will. I found this site some months ago, and for the first time in my life I found hope.
I have been sober for quite some time now, hopefully you will be.

Welcome Joesgal!! I'm relatively new here too, but I'm thrilled with the early results. 13 days in a row alcohol free - that hasn't happened - not even close - since I drank my frist drink about 30 years ago.

My Way Out is an awesome program.

Thanks so much to you all for your kind words of welcome, I was so nervous writing for the first time. Tomorrow morning I go to see my addiction counsellor and also begin to take campral so I am praying hard that I will recover and be able to enjoy the remainder of the summer holidays. Joesgal posting here is sometimes the biggest step for us. I know it was for me. I paced around until I got up the nerve to just do it. Since then it's been the best thing I have done for myself in oh, forever.
