First of all: thinking of Stirly & Mr. Stirly today. I hope the surgery goes well.

I slept better last night. There was a slight breeze so things cooled down a bit. But now we're paranoid about burglars: there has been a spate of nighttime / early morning thefts in our neighbourhood recently. Police claim our area is being targeted at the moment. Mostly youngsters who are trying to get money for Tik (methamphetamine). As timid as Jasmine is, it's good to know she's in the house with us at night.

Tips-I can understand you'd be worried about burglars. Jasmine barks if someone comes on your property? Is your property fenced? When we lived in New Orleans, we even had bars on the windows. And doors. Sad situation when crime gets so out of control-and it does usually revolve around drugs.:upset:
Early start at work today but I finish up mid-afternoon. Hopefully, I can get a few things done around the house. Hoover time.

Expattie: yes, our property is fenced and we have burglar bars on the windows. Security gates on the kitchen and master bedroom doors as well. But yep: Jasmine barks when people are at the door or she hears something untoward.

Having another busy busy week here. Under loads of pressure with this job too. BUT its teaching me so much. So although its hard just now, it will get better the more confident I get.
