hiya folks and how are we alll today then ?all good hopefully......I was gently reminded this morning......."what day is it" ...Thursday replied moi...."and what date?" they penny slowlee dropped.....not too many places you can buy a card at 3.30 am! married 4 years today.........been togevva for 21.....anyways movin swiftly on......going down to my friends house today...he was also my ex boss and had a heart transplant...kinda puts my sore knee back in its box!!

hey Lav...that sounds like a good fair ...a week long?wowee..heres an extra big brew...what are you up to today then?just thin king of your veg box that you get ..at the moment over here there is a massive outcry into food waste...a lot of farmers are growing for major outlets and the waste is unbelievable..Parsnips and carrots,too long too short/fat /thin all getting ploughed back into the ground...apples getting binned because they are either too red or not red enough..KFC chuck out a thousand tons of chicken per year as waste!!!!wtf thats scandalous and thats in uk alone..here is the you tube vid of the programme I watched ..its well worth watching sit down with a recycled brew n watch it..

hiya bear....do you know what ....do me a favour and read your post again ..Ive read it 3 times and guess what..have you ever thought its you that needs to change a little?I put myself in your shoes and...hmm...my management style def wasnt the best..but there again neither was the product!! mebbes you need to chill ..I appreciate how you feel believe me...been there done that.....sometimes its better to ..instead of going off on one ..to kinda say ..not quite sure on that .....lets try it this way ..or nope dont understand that ..what exactly are we trying to achieve here?I was also taught about the ripple effect...if you throw a stone into a pond it makes ripples ..the higher up in the management chain you go ..the more people those ripples affect..so its a case of thinking carefully before acting ...which method will give me the best result?

morning all
Mick, interesting youtuber. Wish I could watch the whole thing but limited internet data availability. Got the jist of it though. My wife volunteers at a local thrift store that the local churches organized and they bring in a lot of food that's being thrown away by a large corporate food chain. What they don't give away we've been taking home for our pigs. Also a buddy of mine works at a local grocery store and saves me the veggies that are outdated and that goes to the 3 "little" pigs as well. You know where I'm going with this, eh? Each household should be mandated to own 2 pigs. Cities could have communal pigs. to be continued... seriously though, it is amazing the waste and the fact that there are so many hungry people in our local and global community. Interesting thoughts to start the day.

PQ, I am very sorry to read of your Dad's passing. We are all thinking of you.

Off doing a little 'veying today. Leaves are falling right along, so much easier to see through the woods!

Mae everybody,I'll watch the video after work Mick,as you know I live in Vegas and Vegas=buffet, I see people piling food on their plates,take two bites and toss it,I know the casinos donate the leftover food from the day to the local pig farm,see Sam knows his business but what about the overall waste?too much!hubs went to a farmers market some months back and was given free potatoes and carrots cut the seller said they were too ugly to sell,well guess what?they tasted pretty damn good roasted in butter and onion don't get me started on waste cuz I won't shut up haha! hey everyone,long day with some good stuff,shattered - it's been al ong old week.

Mick, I don't explode at work,I'm very contained and careful with my words,I'm also someone who reflets a lot on their management style - maybe too much sometimes.
I vent on here because it's a safe space. I'd put in my post that i felt things would get better and I needed to find a better way of dealing with it all. The problem I have is that my manager is very knee jerk,and we are a bit under attack from big boss.Anyway, is what it is and like I said,trying to find better way of dealing with it emotionally as I can't change other people.

Howdy all, Two lost dogs in two days have kept me hopping! Not my dogs; that would be like a fireman having his very own house catch on fire! Anyway both pups are now back home where they belong. The crying owner I spoke with last night had also just broken up with her boyfriend this week. You know you're having a bad day when both your honey and your hound run off! Her smile is back today, at least about her dog.

I continue to read the ads for temp lodgers because having Summer Guest here was such a positive experience. Tonight I opened one with a promising lead, business professional in town for one week looking for room in my area. And then I read this line, "I'm open minded and a nudist, but can stay covered if needed." Oh, good grief! And with that laugh, I shall sign off and see yiz tomorrow.

I was in a group situation with a Boy Scout troop and many family members and friends where we were sleeping in barracks and sharing a large shower/rest room. The scheduling to keep all females separate from adult males from adolescent boys in the shower was elaborate and exhausting. My suggestion that we all disrobe, take a quick look, and GET OVER IT was not enthusiastically received for some odd reason...
