or will it matter a 100 years from now..............Geez I'm sounding like me Granny.

I am having to content myself at lewking at all the Chrimbo catalogues at the mo. The bank is bare of pennies and it's not payday 'til Thursday.:upset:

Feels like October's had 8 weeks in it.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I wonder if my Great Granny said don't worry we'll all be dead in a 100 years time when my Granny was born.

My Granny must have been thinking in her cot ..................You might be, but I'll not. She's a 100 next Feb.

I expect to live to a good old age me but want to be still able to add value in this world. If I stop doing that then it's time to go eh ?
Verrrrrrrrrry deep for a Saturday morning ....
Giving up the grog may have helped with the whole longer life thing.... or was it a preservative :H

Lives on her own but my Aunt does her shopping.

The only thing is pernicious anaemia, but the nurse nips by and gives her an injection every 4 weeks or so. The vicar pops by a couple of times a week, once to give her communion and the other for a bit of a natter.

She's a bit frail, bit deaf and a cantankerous old bag with some people. But not me because I am her likkle princess (1st born grandchild has huge advantages )

The poor kids are down the village queuing up to visit the haunted Castle.
Adds to the spookiness of it all
Yup we have our very own haunted castle 5 mins from here

Aren't you glad when you do things that you're not that keen on doing but when you do them you enjoy them.

Well the shops didn't run out of food but I did run out of money.

Ahh Halloween............well up apart from the wee cuties that come knocking all dressed up and looking splendid .....it's the annual.............lanky 14 year old boys dressed in a bin liner sharing one scary mask trying to look pleased when they get left with the parma violets at the bottom of the bag because they're too late.

Hello all, hope you're all having a great Saturday, mine could be a teeny bit better. British Gas (robbers that they are) relieved me of ?288 this morning by way of a direct debit that should not have been at that level so happy morning spent in the bank getting it recalled! And in other news the dishwasher has broken, its under extended warranty but this doesn't do the washing up.

I got the third thing on Thursday when I needed to (unexpectedly) put a tyre on my car, real barrel of laughs I am not today

                                Hewwo there Spidy,

Saturday's not going too badly, not too badly at all.

Making a SW chicken biryani with a squash curry sauce.

Just about finished so I'm sticking the kettle on and having a couple of crumpets.
