Merry Christmas to the Aussies, even though I'm not one, I have to get in on the poetry fun!

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Of course just one bottle's not much of a stash
better run out for more with my last fist of cash.
Can I drive? Should I walk? Is my judgement okay?

You can do it Byrdy! Everyone get on board, add a verse and when it's done, I'll copy it to the Limerick, Poems thread, with Mick's permission of course!

              "THIS MADNESS MUST END!"
              I said with a shout...
              Got on my computer,
              and found My Way Out.
              I flew in the nest
              To learn what I could..
              Maybe these people here,
              Could do me some good?
              I tried and I tried
And I fell off the wagon.
              My head was hurting
              And my heart was a-draggin.
"Sit next to me!" Lav gently soothed.

                    Merry Christmas our Mick
Your're a man of true talent
Heart big as a house and a Soul strong and valiant.

You've saved countless lives as mentor and muse
Guiding Newbies and knuckleheads (like me ) from an ocean of booze.
So many words to say, so many thanks to make
But it's Christmas Morning and the kids are awake!!

                    Love you Mick, :heartbeat:
