Patty, you can say this is your 12th day out of the past 13 that you were abs. I think Kathy said if you're counting consecutive days, you'd be back at 1. However it's not so much about counting days as it is working towards your goal of abs or moderation, whichever path you are working on. Just pick yourself up and think of what you learned when you overdid it and try harder this time!

It's okay, yes, Patty, I really did take you seriously, and further, didn't realize that you were talking about me as your "addictions therapist", either , I just thought it was a coincidence that you had a therapist named Kathy! Feeling more and more silly!

All that I can say is that I have been rather stressed out and more reactive than usual, as per my post on Mom's Day, "so sad" and a crisis with a friend off MWO as well. I'm even glad it's Monday to go back to work! At least glad this didn't blow into something dumb!!!!

It's remarkable how unperceptive therapists can be when it comes to themselves isn't it?? That's why we need our own therapists!:lol

I ALMOST responded to this!! But KNOWING that Patty and Kathy are two beautiful and responsible and wonderful human beings, I did not intervene! So true. Just saw this happening cuz of last wk and emotions running a bit high right now. I could tell Patty was joking (I think!) and tell that Kathy was kinda bumming but being supportive (I think!) but kept my dang mouth shut!
Oh, I just wish we could meet f2f (that's a Marcie ism and I love it) every night!
Glad it all worked out! Just wanted to express this, and to remind EVERYONE that the typed word is really easy to misinterpret. Use the emoticons. Good suggestion.

Truth be told, I obviously need my own addictions specialist before becoming someone else's, but this has been funny! Thanks for the compliment, Marcie!
