He was my hero - funny amazing guy with lots of real bad sad issues - I have based my life on his (without the fame, money, adulation etc).
Where did I go wrong (no talent perhaps).
Anyway, loved him lots.

my husband even looks a bit like him (in his beatle phase) which has nothing whatsoever to do with me marrying him at all, not one bit (!?). He seemed to have a few issues around drinking and smoking and doing other things and stuff like depression too, which i kind of relate to much more now (when younger i just did all that with no thought whatsoever). But I really loved the music, and i guess he was a pretty real guy for a celebrity - they don't make them like that anymore - and by real i mean he seemed to let you see his personality like it or lump it - and i like that as well.
