Good morning all. Ive just had my first lie in for 22 days. YAY!!

Ive been having really bad pains in my lower back yesterday and today. I know its prob drink related, but after 22 days alc free i thought they would be getting better. Last night, my lower back really hurt when i bent down. Any ideas anyone?To Infinity And Beyond!!Comment

Morning troops! Just a quickie as got to get showered. My nephews are leaving in about 20 mins to travel back to Sheffield where they live with their mum. Also got Jasmine coming to see me today as yesterday she was otherwise engaged having a ball over in Liverpool. Was feeling a bit tired yesterday which in turn made me feel a bit blue about a few things going on in my life right now. But hey ya can't keep a good hippie down!!. Had an early night and watched the 2nd Lord of the Rings movie as I hadn't seen it properly before. Now I know why. It was crap and I fell asleep during the last hour at some point!!
Starting, nice to put a face to the posts finally. I'll refrain from passing comment as I'd probably get a slap but you look very 'healthy' shall we say!!lol Hope you didn't forget that book on the wall before you left!!
To all the rest of the troops Marb, vlad (probably in church as I write this!) limers and anyone else who's just posted while I'm writing this. Have a grand day! Weather is beautiful again here thank god!. Thought I was gonna end up seeing Jas today and it was going to be pissing down with rain!!lol

Starting...no, it feels deeper than that. Think its def my liver or kidneys. Ive had pains there quite bad when i was drinking, but i havent had any till last night, which i find strange. Been taking my omegas, milk thistle and vits. Hopefully it will pass.To Infinity And Beyond!!Comment

Great that you have good weather again over there- looks like a rainy day here
The pain does sound like it could me kidneys Cy, maybe an infection or a chill that might not be anything to do with the boozing?
I am off to finish painting my shop- it is finally taking some shape- hope to open in mid October- so I'll be busy all month- yet another trigger to booze (But I worked all day, whine...kind of trigger).
Well as long as I just work and then straight home should be OK.

Marbs...can you take a photo of your shop so that we can see? I hope the pain is not the results of my long term drinking, but its another reason never to drink again.

Morning o2m.You feeling better tdy? To top off my morning, my G/F just let off on me for no reason. Started having a real go about everything. My honesty on here, that i dont tell her, that were not spending enough time together(!!!!), she was pissed off that Erin is coming over, cause she was here all day yesterday(2hrs!!) and numerous other things! She quit smoking 2 days ago, and is coming up to her time of the month, but some of the things she said has really upset me. I just asked her to go home so we didnt argue. Going to clean the house.To Infinity And Beyond!!Comment

First thing i thought of was wine, and i knew it would be a trigger, but feel positive and really dont want to go back there. I think insecure is it. Telling me i dont give a shit and stuff. Weve done so much this weekend, and i can let it all lie except when it comes to my daughter. If she wants to come over then she can. She lives here, its her home.
