I don't know that I've ever read this thread before. Just did today for some reason.
Kriger that is so cool! Congratulations on your granddaughter. I don't know how you can stand not being there! I really feel for you! Mine are both local. I can't imagine how that must be. So you just hang in there until you can squeeze her to your hearts content :h. There is no love for a child like a grandmother's love. So happy for you!
I'm glad the mommy (your daughter?) is doing well also.

Peri, Thanks for the well wishes...yes, it is frustrating being 2000 miles away from the kids!! It's my son and DIL but she is so wonderful I claim her as my daughter and did right from the start. They are a wonderful match and I love watching their beautiful little family expand. I just wish I lived closer!!
