Army Thread 12th November 2008
Gia, Rubes, I miss living out in the country...
Oney, I used to be AF with all kinds of booze kept in the house, too... did it for years... Actually, now I have a couple leftover bottles of wine from book club, they will just stay unopened, and I'll take them to the next dinner or book club and give them to the hostess... When I am not drinking, I am REALLY not drinking, and mostly just not interested. I still get thoughts and urges, but they just don't seem to be worth listening to... Having done those 3 years in AA really helped me, I think. Being AF feels normal to me, now that I have gotten there again... I feel very fortunate that I am not struggling a lot with it.

I think i am going to go to an AA meeting and see if i feel it helps. I must start to get fit again too, so going to start walking alot more, and may take up running again as everyone else is! Generally start doing things that make me feel better in myself.
I feel as though im running out of options, and wish i could give up like i did before(for over 4 years), but i dont seem to have the will power that i did...To Infinity And Beyond!!
