    Groan... I knew having that pastry and a sandwich was a bit excessive (so why did I do it). Sheesh, am I like this with EVERYTHING???

        My old job we had huge Christmas Parties at a Hotel and a lot of us would rent rooms, my hubby would meet me there. So I definitley would have more than I should, the minute I would sit down I was done. Glad I don't work there anymore!

            In my old job, on St Patrick's day, they gave everyone Guiness at 9.30am. I was doing a 40 day abstainance at the time. I was so angry, not because I couldn't drink but because they told me I couldn't be abstainant and had to join in!

                  In one of my old jobs, several of the old-timers would go over to a place called the Zoo Bar, near the courthouse, at lunchtime. And, sometimes, they would never go back to the office, after "lunch." I hung out with them, in part because they were also my mentors at work... and of course my drinking got MUCH worse during that period of time... that's what led me up to getting into AA and getting my first 3 years sober, back quite a while ago. But then, I decided I would be OK drinking again... Not so...

                      Amazing how we do that to ourselves isnt it wip? 5 years sober, life completley turned around. Nice house, car. Very happy with life, so what do i do? Start drinking again! 2 and a half years later, and i start again after losing alot. It makes me wonder why oh why would i want to go back to drinking when i could see with my own eyes the before and after effects of booze. Still, today i am sober and thats the main thing.

                            Hi Chef KP! Still waiting on the test crap but doing well otherwise. Today, Katrina (my daughter) goes for another ultrasound so we are hoping to learn if we are having a boy or a girl :H
