I am off to get some housework done before my football games. I must watch all of them because the outcomes of all of today's games matter. I will probably check in before the Patriot's kick off. I just wanted to let you all know that I am so proud of my son Christopher. He is writing a column on the website Horrornews.net, called Monster of the week. I would love for all of you to check it out. He is my "quiet" son who is often overlooked. He is a great writer; has completed one novel and started a second. He is also a great photographer and metal drummer. At least I know that he is expressing himself. He does not talk much. See you all soon.

Afternoon all, just dying my hair then going to use the last of my st tropez tanning cream. Felt like a pamper afternoon. Feeling a bit achey today and think i may have caught my niece's cold .... oh joy!! I've got a really sore throat aswell.

Hi All!

Sorry have been AWOL so much- drink wise I am doing great!!! Can't believe how easy I have found it to get through Xmas, but other stuff wise is a load of c***!

Maybe that is why I have not dwelled on Al- too much to take my mind of it- oh well, every cloud has a silver lining.

I am sorry because I haven't read much of the threads lately- checked in for a few mins yesterday and saw the terribly sad post from Sweetgum- and spent the rest of the day in the shop sending prayers to the family.

Hope you are all having fun! Oney- just seen you are going shopping tomorrow- have a fab day girl, I love eating alone! I also sometimes take a book or a mag- sometimes not. Make the most of your me me time, you deserve it!

Things will work out- basically alot of stuff has gone AWOL and it turns out my friend/employee has been over shopping and underpaying plus lots of other stuff, that basically could put me under at the end of the month.

We will see, working dreadfully hard on the shop website to try to salvage the situation and do some advertising.

Ltg ... Going chesnut brown colour. Really needed doing as my roots were a mess.

Oney ... I find st tropez tanning cream really easy to apply and leaves no streaks. It's ?17 a bottle which i think is quite expensive for tanning cream. Last me forever mind!

Marbs .... I really hope 2009 is a good year for the shop and that things pick up a bit xx

No Oney- I confronted her, and needless to say there were tears and apologies, I don't know what direction we will go right now- but Spanish employment laws don't allow me to sack her outright without paying the rest of her contract- it is a difficult time for me- and her I guess.

Lordie, Marbs, I am so sorry. How infuriating... high marks to you for going through this without drinking. I would be murderous! Working with friends... what a minefield... I do so hope that you will turn things around...
