One day I shall figure out how to post photos on the web... I have two dogs jack the greyhound, Lili the lurcher, two cats - fat cat and fluffy - we did have five but lost three due to road accidents. My son has two geckos, Isobel and Rex and my pride and joy Wigsy the grey domesticated squirrel. She lives in a Chinchilla cage in our house and has lived with us for five years. She is totally tame and comes out for two hours a day. She is just brilliant. She did escape into a neighbours house which was a bit of a drama and made a nest in their spare bedroom, she returned home!!!

I've had pets all my life. Where I was born we were on 20 plus acres and all the townies dumped their pets in the country. The dogs would turn ferral and the farmers would shoot them. But the cats, my God we must have had 50 of them, none indoor.

Currently I have three cats, Boop a black one about 8 lbs brings living birds thru the cat door into our house for us to chase, much fun that is , Zelah, Joe's cat part Siamese cat who is just now warming to me after three years she's about 11 lbs, and Frosty a white long haired 25-30 lb cat who is the biggest lover of any cat I've ever had. When you have a 25+ lb cat in your lap you have a LAP CAT.

Then we have two papillions, Rocky whose about maybe 16 lbs and Wendy who is probably about 5 lbs soaking wet. Rocky ears are usually down and Wendys are always up, they are both long haired brown/black/white mixtures.

I too don't have pictures to post yet, but I will and do so in the gallery soon.

Hey BOSS, I worked with Schips in the show ring, back in the 70s...little Monkey's..

Gotta get my pencil back before I post anymore pics, but I'll give you my animal slogans to give you an idea of how I feel about my pets. "The more I see of people, the better I like my dogs!"; "Beware of Dogs (and don't trust the cat!)" ; "Don't make me choose between you and my dog in a burning building!" My oldest dog is my Rottie, 'Jones Berit of Dixie', Berit, 5 yrs. She feel her purpose in live is to take care of me, and she's good at it! She has never bitten, loves women and children, but will insist a strange man stand still until I assure her he is OK to come in. VERY intimidating! Next is Hubs dog, Jack Ass Russell Terror, Sadie, 5. Beautiful, fawn-like, schizophrenic, able to leap tall fences. Next is Willo 'The Wisp (Willow) my 2 yr old 10lb Yorkie (parents weighed 3 & 4 lbs!). She is the funniest and most intelligent dog of them all. Great personality, but does ONLY what she wants. Gator, a rescued male Aussie Shep. I've been trying to place in perfect home. SO beautiful and smart. Then, little Tinkerbell, got her last summer, just turned 2. She was originally to be a breeder but didn't get big enough (thank God!) 3 lb. 10 oz. Has us well trained. Can't wait to send pics. They travel everywhere I do. Hubs can't even get them in and out of the car!!!

Here are my two cats.

The white one is Cosmo and the Tuxedo one is Baby.

Cosmo and Poulan are BFFs. Baby hates them both. :H





Both of these cats were strays. I always gripe to my vet that these animals keep showing up at my house and costing me lots of money.

He always laughs and says, "Well, don't feed them and they will go away."

Yeah, right.
