Morning everyone, our 'puter was out of order yesterday...let the 4yr old play on it unsupervised and 'surprise' it's broken...but the IT dept at Mr Cakes' work sorted it yesterday, yay!
But it has to be said you lot do keep me in order...I've not been very good lately & it's a slippery slope. I haven't been here much, I haven't been listening to the CDs (no time) and some of my supps have run out...so, I'm back with a vengance!!!

Pan, I read about your starfish saving mission yesterday - good stuff. I don't think I've ever seen a starfish move...I guess I thought they just kinda floated about...hehe.

My one brother is hosting a 50th birthday party for my other brother in Sydney on Sunday week...I'm considering flying home for the weekend to surprise them. But I don't know...just thinking about my family is enough to send me to the bottlo!!!

Oh, and we got an awesome tax return...I had to do it for 2 yrs here (finally found a good accountant who advised we had lots of money oweing) and I have to do it again at the end of March so another lot coming...woohoo! We wanna move back to Aus so this will cover the costs when Mr Cakes gets a job there. Altho I'm in 2 minds about this....

Anyhoo, what's going on in everyone elses life??

I've been busy with studying the last couple of days, which is why I haven't been around much. I'm glad Mr Cakes got your computer working Angel. I don't know where I would be without mine.
Just went back and read yesterdays thread. Pan good job on saving the starfish, I doubt the old man will be brave enough to pick one up again and well done on 50 days AF, I know your aim is to reach 60 days and I have no doubt you will do it. (might even get there one day myself)

Yes, well done Betty on not giving in to the cravings the other night, I know how hard that can be. Like you I'm still debating the mod/AF thing. I get a few day AF under my belt and then tell myself it will be ok to have a glass or two of wine. Fortunately over the last couple of weeks I have managed to limit how much I drink to half a bottle of wine which I share with Hubby, so I'm pleased about that.

Angel I'm doing a Nursing Degree, I'm in my second year which I'm going to do part time. So I still have alittle ways to go. (I'll get there eventually)

Hi Guys,

Finally a day off me - hooray! Feeling like crap today. I think the week just gone has not only caught up to me but run me over! Only had a couple of drinks of Wednesday night so at least it's not a hangover! Booted myself off to the gym thinking it might make me feel better - but it wasn't to be today. I usually come out of pump class feeling great. And God I have been so crabby! Will the real Eskimo please raise her hand???? Think I might go for a lay down and then I have to hit the books to - sigh. Hope you guys are all having a good day.

Hello Angel, Crystal and Eskimo. I have been at the beach on and off all day. Been to 3 different beaches today taking photos and collecting coral.

Angel, what are you in two minds about, re Aus.? And you wanted to hear how I was feeling being AF for some time now? I don't know really. I suppose I just feel normal. I've started thinking about having a drink more than I was at 30 days AF, but don't really want to have one in case I want to keep on going like I was before. I'm going to give it a go before my husband arrives in two weeks tho, because if I go stupid, I want to do it on my own.

Two more weeks on my own. I've rather been enjoying it. Then it's farewell to the sea and back to the middle of nowhere for the next few months.
