She is 34 and has 2 kids. My grandson who is 11 and a new husband and baby girl who is 3 and I have never met either of them. They live 6 hrs. away but the real distance happened when she took her dad's side in the divorce, nearly 10 yrs. ago. i think we may be starting to refine our relationship and get to know each other as people not just mother/daughter. First I had to set boundries...i started that process yesterday by saying NO to her.It was painful but necessary.
