Hi Everyone,
It is a beautiful spring day in Utah! Hubby is still in florida and I am enjoying my time alone. I need to think about getting into the cleaning effort for upcoming SIL Too bad the lower level will not be emptied out until after she comes and goes; it would have been nice to get our family room back and put our new big screen tv down there for a nice chill out place. Soon. Soon.

Popeye and Starty, you are getting me thinking about hiking in our beautiful mountains. There is also a tulip festival going on in a garden south of here- I usually pay the admission to walk around there all day- it is well worth the money. It is an excellent place to walk around a few hours and have a nice lunch overlooking the gardens.

I hope everyone enjoys their day in whatever way they choose. Love to all, Krigs

I just made a cash donation for Sean....I hope I'm not too late. This is the end of the month so $$ is short but I did what I could. I know it's past 10am GMT.

I have been following Seans story and would like to help out. Is there a time frame linked to the donation system...or is an ongoing type thing?

Hi Horizons

The money has been sent via Western Union, but as three more donations have already come in I will make him out a check and send it to the Day Centre address he has, which Zenners has just sent me. So anyone who wants to send anything isn't too late, he should get it around next Tuesday.

Marb, would Sean even be able to cash a cheque? Does he have a bank account over there? Or did you mean a money order/cashiers cheque? Even without ID that is from the US, I think it would be very hard for him to cash a cheque - cheque.

AFM, as I understand it WU will cash anything. And the reason being is not reputable. Please, anyone tell me anything different please?

AFM- I am not sure either- I would have to ask my bank, but as far as I know you can make a check out to 'The Bearer' - You can here, and I think it is the same in the UK- the only problem with that is if anyone else got their hands on it they can cash it too. Failing that, I will send the money to my sister and ask her to post him a Postal Order, which he can cash in any Post Office.

I think Sean must have a UK passport as proof of ID as he has just gone back to the UK- and I don't think he was ever a US citizen.

When he comes online I will find out, but I am sure we will find a way to get it to him without paying more Western Union fees.
