    I'm first.....irish night owl here,have been up most of tonight and may be tired tomorrow (or today) but at least i won't be hungover.

    On day 4.....and no way could it be as bad as the first 3..

    Also,first time typing in ages without the shakes...:happy:

        sober dry since 11th Jan '2010' relapse/slip on 23/7/13 working in progress ! Sober date 25/7/13 ( True learning has often followed an eclipse, a time of darkness, but with each cycle of my recovery, the light grows stronger and my vision is clearer. (AA)
        my desire to avoid hitting bottom again was more powerful then my desire to drink !

                Hello everyone! Happy Sunday!

                I went four days AF, then drank Friday, then did not yesterday. On day two here. For me, even drinking only one day out of six is good, although I want to be AF. Last night was the first AF Saturday alone I've seen in ages!

                    Have a good Sunday out there everyone else!! I'm coming up on a year of sobriety, and can't believe the difference a year has made. I'm a different (or maybe the real), slimmer, healthier, happier, more trustworthy, more spiritual, (dare I say?!?!) better looking grandma these days. Thank you to my old friends who have stayed the course and true.

                      Sober and happy!

                      Have had the flu this weekend and was thinking how crappy I feel and how I used to feel this damn bad everyday really. I am so grateful to be AF. I am not happy to be sick, but at least now I can tell when I am truly ill....before who would have ever known???

                            I AM GOING TO STAY SOBER TODAY!
                            I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                            Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                            Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
