          Took it in for a service and clean and asked them to take a look at a problem I had picked up with excessive flare. Now they have said that it will need to go to the agents as they cannot work on these things.

          Have a shoot on the 28th up on the Wild Coast and doubt very much that i will have it back in time. Feck, great time for this kind of stress

              Thats a bummer. Can they or the manafacturers not lend you a replacement. Or is it posible to hire or borrow one?

                    Will push for a super-quick replacement as I will need to learn the ins-and-outs of the new cam if it is different model. Hiring is hellishly expensive, the crowd in CT are wanting R2,000 per day......:upset:

                                OK listen here, you must have an old one or ten lurking in the cupboard that you know inside out. So use the best of them and get stuck into the shots in photoshop. I can help if you need it. I am sure they will turn out grand. You should see some of crap quality that we in get form cheap digital cameras these days that passes off for professional photography.
