You are such a terrific guy, the universe has really opened its arms to you and you have embraced it. Take good care of yourself during this detox period and beyond and remember, sometimes it is only one minute at a time, then hours then days the weeks......before you know it AL is no longer kicking your bum everyday!

I always knew I had all of you, but with the events of this weekend I now know that I can beat the Beast !!!!

Not at the in-laws yet but started my meds and supps.
I have no AL here(thank God) And the in-laws will be here a little later on.

I am SO, SO HAPPY for you. I lurk here all the time and only log in when I have a comment. So, I have been following what's been going on with you. My apologies for not reaching out, but I am pretty much dead without anything to offer.

Your friends showing how much they love you shows what a wonderful person you are. This disease is so isolating at times that it is easy to think no one cares. Or so shameful that you ( okay, I) don't let other's know the pain and suffering.

I applaud you to reaching out to your ex-in laws. I have so much shame, I am still in hiding mode.

Pro...I am just so happy for you and know "with a little help from your friends" you will be on your way to a great new life.
