It certainly puts my day into perspective when I read about people like that Starts. Here I am plutzing about silly things and there are people that can't stomach anything other than a bowl of soup -- makes me grateful for what I have.

Just to reminds ya's all....10 weeks and 2 day's to Christmas:coolsanta:
I am ashamed to say that I have just bought my tins of Quality Street..Roses and first batch of mince pies.
Next week I will be buying the prezzies to ship to the family in the U.K....cash stuffed in envelope for hormonal daughter...smellies and socks for John..and hey presto I'm done..
I used to LOVE Christmas..:upset:

I had an AF Christmas last year and loved it. Much better than being full off booze and missing most of Christmas day being unconcious (sp) on the settee.

It's like a battle field in M and S at Christmas and I do Next on-line.

It might sound a bit mean but just I'm going to buy the presents and if they like them great if they don't they'll just have to grin and bear it. I've spent too many years stressing.

If we hadn't have been greedy and gone to FL..we may have been able to make it happen but not now. I can honestly say that xmas is miserable here..we try our best but it really isn't the same..and the phone calls home are so emotional:upset:
