    I got my liver tested 1 1/2 years ago and everything was fine, so I thought yay I can keep drinking. I got bloods done before I gave up again this time and I was asked to come back in for more tests - I didn't - guess I'm to frightened of what the results are. No achey old liver now though, that stopped over a month ago
    It's time I put my big girl pants on. :grannypants: I hope they fit.

      Hey Oney.
      I'd several plate loads of curry last night. It was a buffet thing were you help yourself to as much as you want. My eyes were bigger than my belly though. I don't eat like I used to when I was shovelling sand all day.

              I had my liver checked several times over the years for various reasons and was told it was great. I hadn't told my doc about my drinking or any of the related pains and stuff at the time and was just sort of relieved to be able to carry on my stuupid habit for a while longer, fooling myself that I was indestructable.

                  I was dreaming of the meetup but Starty got the hotel rooms messed up so I was in with you!
                  I am laughing now but I woke up in a sweat thinking.....Ohh I have to leave MWO now!

                      Yeh you are right, but it does go to show how strong this addiction can be. For instance I sat drinking while watching the 'rain in my heart' documentaries when they were first on. It wasnt enough to get me to put down the glass for an hour never mind stop. Anyway sorry to bring the thread down on a beautiful sunday morning. I am truly thankful for where I find myself today. And that is what I am really trying to say.
