KTAB night in the Grand Canyon was like that. Not frosty, but the stars were incredible because there's no competing artificial light.sigpic

I am lucky because I only have the lights of Dublin to the north but the south is countryside, the west is the mountains and the east is the sea. I never saw so many stars as when I was down in west cork a few years ago, many many miles from any towns. Amazing, can only imagine what it must be like in say Africa or the Aussie outback.greeneyes;776823 wrote: NICE!!!!
