Sorry 'bout your cold, MA. Hubs & I have had one since we spent time with our little cootie-farm grandchildren! LOL Afraid I may have fractured my rib again with all this coughing, certainly NOT fun. Get some hot tea in you, lots of water, and rest all day before you go in to work, OK. I HATE colds, but can't resist the booger sugar I get from my little boys. LOL

Ruby ..its hard when someone pass away, i remember when my neighbor pass away, she was very old but very goood for her age, she seen my 2kids grow up they always use to run and give her a big hug it felt so empty without her. my kids miss her so much, so did i she we always had her round on xmas eve.
Ma hope your cold get better.
Mr T getting cold here, feel the cold when im looking after the kids in the school playground at dinner time, got to remember my gloves today.

Half term next week my daughter will be please, to have a lay in, so will I. cant believe it friday again.

Welcome Over!! So good to have you on board - this bunch is wonderful at giving support and friendship. As more time goes by, you'll be amazed at the changes in you, and will learn to face your problems soberly. It amazing to learn we actually like ourselves!

I'm officially sick today - temp of 103F when I woke up this AM. Thank goodness for my wonderful docs who have sent me meds and I don't have to shlep into their office with all the other sick people. As bad as I feel, I'm lucky that this is the first time I've been sick like this in several years. When I was drinking heavily I would get this several times every winter. Just need to rest and drink lots of fluids, and I'll be right as rain in a day or two (let's hope!!).

The weather forecasters are calling for snow later this morning. It seems they want to be the first one to see a snowflake. Schools are closed, people are staying home. They get it right about half the time. LOL

Ruby, sorry u r sick now, feeling a little better, cannot believe I spent 24 hours in bed!! but if that is what it took?! now I only have today, but will try to get alot done, hope u recoup quickly and get back to your normal sweet self..............

T, it is freezing here too, cannot even stand it,:upset:in the 20s , have no idea what my power bill will be as the heater has been running constantly and it is only 70 degrees in this apt............I am really postponing taking a shower, the hot water cuts off after about 5 min, like an army shower or something

Thanks for sharing those pictures. It's been over ten years since I have seen snow and as crazy as this may sound to some of you I do miss it. When it falls in the country where it is untouched it can be very beautifu. In the city where the cars drive through it and it turns to brown dirty slush not so pretty. Anyway looks beautiful from your view Ruby. I did say I miss seeing it....that does not mean I miss, shoveling, driving in or dressing for it.

I am trying to get my ass in gear, drank a few times this past week, "I know, just getting out of the hospital and off my death bed should have been a wake-up call", but having such a hard time, I am trying not to beat myself up over it, but all my emotional, physical, mental and financial worries/pain have me beaten, and I think I need to get back on baclofen, will talk to doc and neurologist to see if safe, REALLY helped w/ cravings/anxiety and other probs I have.........tried Campral, Naltrexone, every other med out there, this was the first one that worked.................

Staying, up all night doesn't help............looking every week in the paper,but there is nothing out there!!!:upset:

thanks for bearing w/ me................not that strong as I thought I was or maybe it is just the stress!?
