      Evening, all

Feck, all this dentistry talk has me nervous again... I'm going for a root canal on the 16th. Luckily covered by my medical aid, but that costs a fortune every month in any case...

My Dr. :h must be a cousin to your Dr. :h. Very cute, very sweet and he's got very gentle hands as well....

            Hi FFF,
Mr :h is an NHS dentist but we still have to pay a portion of the cost. Last time it was about an arm and a leg

              Hey, Stirls

I haven't been terribly bouncy for a couple of weeks now. Ever since mid-Jan, come to think of it.

But I have been AD-free since Monday. Hopefully I can stay that way. The meds been f*&$%ing with my brain.

Had a good session with my therapist this week and last, though.

AD - what's that - that medication that made it difficult for you to sleep??

Anti-depressant. Some of them assisted with sleep, others hindered it.

But for now, I'm going to stick with therapy and see if I can ride out the insomnia and send the darkness to hell over time.

Yeah, it's funny how different drugs affect different people. Insomnia is a bugger to deal with tho' especially when you can't just take a nap during the day if you feel the need. Good luck to you - hope your therapist will help you manage the "darkness" and get you feeling :jumpwow:again!!!:l

                            Hey, Rubes

                            I miss him too :upset:

But hey: in true MWO spirit - onward & upward.

At least I'm realising I have many choices. So I've started making decisions. One of them is that I'm not going to carry on being my psychiatrist's living experiment, as well-intentioned as he has been. The irony is that his 1st option worked wonderfully, but our f^&^&^&d-up medical coverage in SA doesn't allow me to keep taking it. So I'd rather go it alone than settle for stuff that has more side-effects than benefits. It just means I have to endure this for longer.

A week ago, I seriously considered talking up drinking again, because then I would at least be numb to everything again. The good thing is that I don't have the slightest inclination to go there again.

The bad thing? Can I "endure" indefinitely? I just don't know...
