Got a great birdie biscuit recipe for you...they love it!

1 cup cake flour
1 cup wholewheat or nutty wheat flour
I cup nuts and raisens
1 cup marg or butter or holsum or suet
1 cup wild bird seed
1 cup water
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg

mix up and either make in muffin pans, or slabs that fit in those bird feeder cages, or cookie cutters ...and pierce with a straw and thread string through to hand from tree/shrub

The bird gobble it up, specially when food is scarce!!
