      Happy Sunday morning, friends. Thought I would pop in before my day starts - and before my granddaughter wakes up. Yep-I got the pleasure of keeping her overnight last night....she is teething so was up at 3am...but after some tylenol and a bottle she went back to sleep. I am so blessed with her! It's really hot and humid - very dangerous for my sweet mother-in-law who has no air conditioning! I keep trying to get her to come down to my house - but she is so stubborn! Yesterday, she finally gave in after my hubby went up and forced her to come down-good thing too - she was dizzy & weak from the heat! I hope each and every one of you have a beautiful, inspiring day! I hear Addy waking up now - so I have to go! Love to you all.

        Good morning Grateful - I am so pleased your hubby went and got your m-i-l - to be without AC in this summer heat is awful. How old is your granddaughter? You are a better soul than I - I am not a baby person and dread when my daughter asks me to baby-sit, although fortunately the other in-laws dote on the grandbabies and so have them - often for a weekend at a time - the very thought makes me shudder! I love them but not to look after!! If that makes me a terrible grand-mummy, so be it. I am better with children when they are older.

        It looks as if we might get some rain today - lovely. I need to go and start my doing today. Have a wonderful day all -

          Grateful...my neice's name is Addy...how cool is that? My grandmother was Adelyn, a good Southern name...I have never known another Addy....
          off to the lake house for the day...gonna be hot as hell....
          hang in there Maslow....I am battling the blues right now....just stay busy...that's what I do

              Good morning family! I've been up since 4:00 am with pain in my hands and legs, but planning on getting our backsplash done today! Maslow and MB, shake those blues off and focus on your blessings. Be the victor, not the victim over emotional pain. Forgive those who have hurt you so you can have peace. Trust God to take care of you financially. Grateful, I am so sorry that sweet little baby girl is teething and kept you up all night. I hope she feels better today and you can go to bed early tonight. So glad you got your m-i-l out of the heat. Is she planning on staying with ya'll for a while? Sunshine, we take green peanuts and boil them in water and salt for a couple of hours and eat them hot. They are fine! IAD, how are you feeling today? Gold, how are you doing?                   Well everyone I have failed Last night after Church we go to the same restarant that we always go and before I back from the rest room there on the table was a drink and then into my dinner before I could say somthing the second one came. When It arived it told the waitress I was done and she asked what was wrong as I have three. Not knowing what to say I told here that I was not in the mood. Got home fellt so guilty I went to bed. Well beter luck today :-(

                        IAD, looks just like Roger in the morning with his coffee! Grateful, I know you are tired. Hopefully, you can get a nap today. Sunshine, hope you are feeling good today and enjoying your weekend off. MB, don't work too hard. Biz, we're so happy you came back and are ready to begin again. Failing is only when you give up. We all fall, just get back up stronger and more determineed to kick that alcohol in the butt! Don't beat yourself up! Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is unknown so live in today and tell yourself today I will not drink. Take one day at a time, my friend. I hope everyone has a great day.                           Afternoon, all. Quick check-in while Addy is with Pop-Pop. Sunny-she is 6 months old and is a sweetheart. Not everybody is a baby person...and that definitely doesn't make you a "terrible grand-mummy". I think it takes a lot more patience to look after them when they are older!! MB-that's cool that your niece is also an "Addy". My daughter liked the name "Addison" from the tv show "Private Pratice"...so that's how her name came about. Hope you have fun at the lakehouse and shake those darn blues!! Vicki..I am sorry you are in so much pain again. I pray that you feel better soon. My mother-in-law actually lives next door to us so she could come here every day if she wasn't so stubborn!! She prefers to be in her own home....but this heat is so bad for her and she has COPD on top of that.

                          Bizman-I agree with the others that you are doing great!! Today is a new day and a chance to strive for your goals. At least you came here and shared with all of us and you know that we all support you and are here for you.

                          Ruby & Roger are on their way back-yes!!! I can't wait to see pictures either!!

                          IAD-I have to have my coffee in the morning before I do anything else!! That picture could be me with longer hair and no face hair - LOL!

                              Golly - do you ALL have pools? Wish I did but if I did, I wouldn't have any back garden left.

                              Vicki - I wish there was something you could find for your pain - it is soul destroying to have constant pain. Does anything help it??

                              Grateful - thanks for trying to make me feel better about the baby thing - I feel as if I am the only person in the world who doesn't like babies - well, I do but only if I can hand them back after a few minutes!! I enjoyed mine but was glad as they got older too. Until I had my first I had never even held a baby! At age 29 or thereabouts!!

                              MB - won't it be cool by the lake? you can always go in the lake to cool off..... enjoy your day there - now the storm that we had has passed over it is SO hot and humid here again.

                              I too am looking forward to seeing Rog and Ruby back! Enjoy everyone!!

                                It's the wife and myself at my Nieces Wedding.......My kin keep sending me these pics ! ha! Know you you know why I'm hitting the gym more often ! Ha! I've gotten so big since I retired ! Ha! Sunsine.....I do have a pool....That I would like to take an ax too ! ha! So much work and money to run the damn thing .....Ha! IAD
