You are making great strides tho Tiggs, are you gonna do the free quit smoking course, Fallen Angel posted in on the Butt thread...
me and wanna are doing it but I think it is even better if you start it wen you are still smoking..
Yeah, Mrs. T smokes too, but she claims she's not addicted and can stop at the drop of a hat. Having said that, she's much like me: "not ready yet."I'll do whatever it takes

death from lung cancer isn't an incentive? just sayin'.........tiptronic_ct;860228 wrote: The thing with my smoking is: with AL, I NEEDED and WANTED to stop.
With ciggies, I know on an intellectual level, that I should be stopping... but there isn't the same kind of incentive...

I know what you mean...something just clicked my my head when I decided to quit this time.....I just don't want to be a slave to anything in my life, especially something that can hurt me, hurt my kids, make me look older than I am...steal my money, my health and my freedom..tiptronic_ct;860228 wrote: The thing with my smoking is: with AL, I NEEDED and WANTED to stop.

I hated the hold smoking had over me...."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

It is so freeing to not have to even think about all the stuff. The lighters, how many you have left, when do the stores close, where you can or can't smoke, the tobacco crap stuck on your lipstick tube, mashing them in a pocket.sigpic
