why i should be proud of me....

following on to my post on ktabs thread about the you tube wanna posted.

i AM proud of me because:

i married and adore the most fantastic man i have ever stumbled across and do my best to be a good wife.

together we made the most beautiful girls aged 9 and 6, who are well turned out with beautiful mannerisms and i do the best i can to be a good mother.

i am very good at my job.

i put up with a chronic back condition with as little grumbling as possible.

i have my demons, but i am trying to fight them to make me a better person

    i'm a bloody good cook.

my hubby says i have a nice bum:H

i am a very caring and honest person.

there is my brag. i'm not JUST a useless alcoholic after all!

    C'MON, BRAG AWAY!

ooh i forgot so ive had to edit....

i am 17days free of al!

      Hey Girly Wirly, nice idea.
Ok I am proud of me because I am still trying to be the man I know I can be. Hope that makes sense.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

why i should be proud of me....

          Awesome thread Girly!

          Here goes...what I like about me/what I'm proud of:

          I'm an independent woman

I provide well for my child

My daughter is confident, healthy and happy with her life, I make sure of it!

          I live debt free

          I love my job

          My family is awesome

I don't look for another person to complete me, I do that on my own (not that I'd be opposed to meeting some single hunk someday...lol)

I have created a beautiful, nurturing home for my daughter and I, it is our haven

I am 49 days alcohol free!!

Ok, enough about ME. But that did feel good!

          K9
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

why i should be proud of me....

Thank you girly for this thread. I am really struggling financially as many are and feel like I'm hitting the wall today, so to reflect on myself in this way helped to bring me out of a bit of paralized state. So here goes....
                    I'm proud of my:
                    healthy habits
                    honesty
                    integrity
                    diligence
                    tenacity
                    strength of character
                    intuition
                    quirky sense of humour
                    successes
desire to learn and grow from failures
                    lasting friendships
God I hope that doesn't sound conceited.
