You lot are certified...because of the rain (woo hoo)..... me and daughter had a "Free Willy" movie a thon ...prequel Willy then Willy one and Willy two and some strange North American version about a Willy ...I did chock up a bit:upset: but Willys ok in all versions

And do ya reckon Willy or his family made a buck out of it? No. Bugger animal right's in this case, where's Actor's equity or whatever the septic's call em.

I can't tell you how thrilled i am we won gold at the feckin flower show.
Having said that, i did a gig at the melbourne one a few years ago. They had a guiness tent, and needless to say, at around 12.30 p.m. still dazed and confused from the previous night's shenanigan's, the tap's were ON.

Why the feck can my brain not do that Tawny? Thank YOU!! (sigh)

I have been trying to help my boy with his homework for days.. have managed to explain percentages and how they work but alas i grew up in the era where they gave us all calculators in year 7 so I never learned the basic math. I think I stopped at about 'long division' stage.

We were in a bike store today looking at BMX and they were on sale with different percentages off.. I could not figure it out in my head and he laughed and said 'if you can't do it then how can you expect me to'? I asked the sales dude and he said "I'll just go get a calculator"

I know there is a simple way to do it on paper but the way they write division signs has changed so much over years & between countries the whole entire expedition to explain this percentage phenomenon has become an epic brain bending exercise in self-depreciation & embarrassment for me.

How come so many people I know and respect that are older than me and left school years earlier than i did have these basic skills whereas my generation and younger are often clueless when it comes to the simple things?
