I think Ron01 has some bootlegs of the flower show. I noticed him on a French site yesdy.

Well, must re-string Fergus, then off to an arvo gug playing to snotty nosed kid's and knackered parent's, some of which'll probably be goin the hair of the dog. But i reckon we'll share at least one thing in common. Pride.

Whether you are in the roped orf area, or the cheap seat's, it doesn't matter. Have a triff day.

Am drinking chai & contemplating the day ahead... me and Beags are on a mission.. DAY ONE!!

Morning to everyone!
Sunshine here, blue skies,positively a glowing day to be out.
And yes, Ficks & I are embarking on the Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Well,starting day 1 again, again.
Wish I could get outta this godforsaken place for a bit but still annual seeding rolls on & on & with it comes my domestic goddess duties of cooking for 3 men-folk whom I'm sure have hydatids, they eat that much.
Oh for some different human beings to see!
Ah well Fickle & I are going to egg each other on a bit,see how we hang.
Plan today : get time out for ME. Listen to cd's. Ride horses. And oh yes, firkin' cook of course. Grrrr.
I'm going to check in later.

Oh and some advice please Tawny, Bridgee,

I ordered some 'fragrant cloud' roses for my daughter's 17th. Apparently i'm supposed to be preparing the soil for planting when they arrive in a few weeks.

I have not had great success with roses at this house so the soil must not be as good as the last place. What do you suggest that i do to 'prepare' besides dig some moo poo through it?

Also, should i be pruning my other sick roses back hard now or wait till mid winter?
