I've got the regulation CDs & book & am currently investigating kudzu & thinking how far i'm going to have to travel to see a doc.
really been procrastinating for far too long.

well bridge gotta travel at least 200 km for Doc,not quite sure if small town country hic docs will do topa or the like....me thinkin big city possibly best.
hell, i'd get it myself through my own means if poss...hmmm thoughts there.
well i just know that something has to change so i'd better get off my considerably padded arse & start it...
in the mean time,i might just get back on here & get a bit of like-minded chit chat, if you know what i mean. Haven't had cause to smile or laugh in ages...my therapy may well start here!

we do own another small farmlet only 1.5 hrs away from decent city size,so when seeding finishes,i'll try getting away.
can you walk into any ole doc ask for Topa ?
i mean i'm always pretty up-front so i'm likely to blurt out "hey,i'm addicted to alcohol,give me some Topamax" & then tap fingers irritatedly on his desk whilst he looks up his MIMS annual for the stuff......

I think I'd Google clinics in the city you are talking about, then ring em and ask them if they require referral.
The whole referral issue gives me the shits in some ways. Especially if you alreadyy HAVE a referral, but need to get it renewed every 12 months....what a scam.
And DER. I think you KNOW if you have a grog issue. Why do we need some patronising letterhead to say
Dear Dr Butthead.
Bridget is (was) on the piss most nights like a Guns and Roses groupie.
