He pulled it out and I was supposed to keep the hole open manually but I couldnt despite bathing it numerous times a day. Today his neck is very swollen so if it doesnt settle, back to the vet he goes.

That doesn't sound good. Is he on antibiotics?

Yes he is. Its not infection, its where the fluid is building up in the cavity. There was tremendous damage to the underlying tissue and a massive hole in his neck. Its not infection (I hope) just a fluid build up.
He seems ok in hlmeslf.
In fact, he is petitioning for a walk now, so best get on with it!

Morning Army. Just a quick check in to say hello. I don't know where the days are disappearing to, one minute its 6am and when you turn around its bed time. All going grand here just no notion of a routine as yet. I've logged on more time than enough, then the wee man wakes and when I reach for laptop again the battery is dead. So I hope everyone is well I'm not even going to try and read back what ye have been up to this last few days. Have a good day everyone.

Coldest morning so far this winter: 2C when we left home at 7.00 am. But not too bad, since there was no wind. Pretty day, actually: the cloud cover has disappeared for a while (which explains the cold, I guess).
