We've decided to give it a test drive with a fake lip ring (magnets), they sell them on eBay. So at least we can get a sense of what it looks like.

It would be an easy decision if I didn't like them, but I really do, I think they're so cute! And we're not giving in to peer pressure, nobody is pressuring her to do it. It's probably my fault, I really think they look cute and I made the mistake of mentioning it one day...

I've been in the professional business/corporate world for almost 20 years and I know there are ways to get around small piercings.

Anyway, we'll see how it looks, maybe she won't even like it! (Right...)

K9 I think that is reasonable to try the magnetic one first. You're right there are many in the corporate world that are pierced but conceal it at work. I for example wear a penis gourd and have for many years. Although my suits do not fall correctly, I've never been ostracized by my peers. However, I have been humiliated many times at the beach while body surfing!

I'm so happy to report, after EX-dil allowed my beautiful 16 y/o g'daughter to self-bleach her hair in a way that looked like Cruella de Ville a few months ago, she proudly came in today, no make-up, with her hair back to normal!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! I told her during that time, I loved her, but I didn't like that she did that to her beautiful blond hair. No force, no threats, no effort, really. She said she decided I was right and she wanted to be herself. She's almost 17, and I had accepted her decision, but told her when she wanted I'd pay for her to get back to her usual, beautiful self. And she wanted ME to see and recognize it!
Everyone must make their own decisions. My children and grands know I'm conservative, but have tolerated their experiements with good grace. (mostly :H) I know backgrounds and age are different. I just SO hate to see a beautiful young body changed (I won't say violated) with a trend. I will never stop loving my children, grands, but don't want them to experience these things before they're old enough to decide. I can't stop them, but thank God they value my feelings. Again, this is MY opinion and experience.

I don't have kids so I won't voice that kind of opinion. However, I'd be curious enough about accupuncture points to ask if there were any near the desired piercing point.

I believe Armani of Papua New Guinea have a wonderful range of suits especially tailored to accommodate.
