The rain is clearing up a bit in the Cape Town CBD and everything looks nice and clean I've finally caught up with everything that needed doing after my return from leave, so I have an opportunity to start my day at a more leisurely pace, sipping a latte at my desk and planning my day.

Hello Chill, Betty, Mario, Tips and to all who drop by later.
According to "Earth Calendar" it is St. Swithin's Day in the UK. This is what I found about today....The famous saying goes that if it rains on St Swithin's Day (today), it will rain continuously for 40 days. And if it doesn't, then there will be clear skies for 40 days.
It goes without saying that I really, really hope your skies look something like this today...
It's going to be a scorcher here today. Forecast is calling for temps close to 40C. That's 104F.
Anyway, it's summer in Greece so it's to be expected. Am off to walk the dog before it gets any hotter. See you all later. Have a very....

Woke up middle of the night here in US and glad to see some friends up and about.

I think that is why I find the crap that has gone on the last few days so disturbing, it truly is a sanctuary here for some of us.
