I had a good day yesterday. Did some yard work, cleaned the house, got a mani/pedi (because I would have spent the $ on wine in the old days) and came home and made a big dinner - ham and au gratin potatoes for the boys and a vegetarian casserole for me. Boys got home around 7:00.
Hubby was in a pissy mood on the drive back home and was sharp with me and I was pissed. My first thought thru my head was to buy a bottle of wine but I stopped myself and asked what I was feeling and why I wanted to squelch it with the wine. I think that feeling anger has always sort of scared me, so I try to suppress it. BUt, I resisted. So, three biggies for me this week: Hubby gone on a trip with DD#3, and I didn't drink. Went to the grocery store at 5:00 and didn't even THINK about buying wine (thanks to the Bac) and was angrey and dealth with teh feelings soberly.

I am feeling pretty good about myself today. I think I am getting there.

urgh what a morning, my pc decided it was going to have a hissy fit for no aparent reason :durn: Got no fingernails left trying to sort it out, had to do a reformat, seems to have done the trick :yay: i don't know what i would have done because i certainly can't afford a new one at the moment! off to work in a bit hope y'all have a good day!

Well, I have done the two hours at work - supposed to be a manager meeting but no-one told me it had been cancelled and I went in anyway - seeing as I had got up and gone in I stayed and did some stuff - I can feel it already - after just two hours!! Off to take Mags to the vets then home to rest before going back this afternoon. Love and hugs to all,

Tony you are a trip!!!!!! you should be down here with me although most of the sites are teeney bobers. Anyway I am almost A french fry all ready and that is with tents and unbrelllas. the bummer is because of the the tropical depresion the water temp is 68 degrees so no go for me. hopefully it will warm up a bit as the week goes on. Dang Biz! The grands complain when the pool gets below 80F!

First day of school, Jack's first day ever! (He first said he'd decided not to go to school after all, but finally convinced he had to!) See how he's almost a year younger than Ry but he is protective of him? BTW, Jack DOES have 2 legs!! :H And that's beautiful AB's, who wouldn't let her mother walk her in today!!
