Hi Vicki, actually I have had an incredibly stressfilled last few weeks, but I am grateful to be handling it firmly without the thought of alcohol! The only way to go!! I hope that you are feeling better.....one day at a time, Vickie, you know the way!

Well. I have a confession to make. I caved. I am sorry - thank you to everyone who tried to contact me or asked me to contact them. I have no excuses - friends do not make excuses. I just felt bummed. With my foot, and being bored - plus Maggie hasn't eaten in two days. I just wanted to have that feeling - you know the one - that first feeling when you have that first drink. I haven't had enough to get drunk. But I have had a drink. back to day 1. no more 7 months for me. I went to chat just now and T and Ruby were there and I ended up in tears - more 'cos I was cross with myself than anything. Everyone was so nice to me - that made me cry even more! I feel as if I have let everyone down. But you know what? tomorrow is day 1 and I will be back. Right now I am going to bed. Thank you to all of you. Love you all, God Bless too,

Morning all. Been a busy one so far. I have to go shopping (URGHH) in a few. Could I BE any more of a hermit?? Dreading court day; don't know why, just don't want to have to explain myself in a room full of people, why someone owes me money for living in my house 8 months. Yes, I have a boatload of documents.

Yeah Sun I did it too. Felt it comin on for the past few days. Been hot and bored and waiting for school to start its like non stop music goin on when the kids are up. I dunno.Today is another day and yesterday is gone....well I am so sick of people sending me email that is anti this or that like they hate Obama or hispanics or non-christians or whatever and I call it hate mail. Feel like sending something out that says quit sending me hate mail, but then would that be me sending hate mail? Not sure..hahaha......went for yearly exam yesterday and have lump on breast gotta go get an ultrasound next week to see what it is thats driving me crazy thinking about it. I almost didnt show it to her its practically on my shoulder but she said that is still breast tissue.....well I need to find a project, T we are gonna have to have a project making contest....bird

We don't get mad, hon. Or judge. You do that to yourself after something like this happens. When I was recovering from yet another binge, and Hubs was reading me the riot act, I told him nothing he could say or think was as bad as what I thought of myself. Dust yourself off, and work on your plan for the next time temptation knocks.
That was yesterday. You can't fix it. Learn from it.

Birdy, when do you have the ultrasound? Let us know, OK? I know it worries you, but keep good thoughts, OK? I went through a scare a couple of years back, and now have to have a more extensive exam each year. Just look after yourself.
