The most wonderful thing about not punching a timeclock is waking on my own time. Hubs has gotten up between 4 & 5 AM for 40 years, and on weekends, he's worse than a 5 year old, bouncing on me, pulling on my face, jerking away the covers, tickling my toes till I give up and get up!!
Can't decide on what kind of phone to get!! I'll research it again today. Will stay with Verizon; they have the best coverage for me.

As for me yesterday was a disaster at my work my boss can be such a @##!*&# In the way he treats me I have been good witht the AH but last night I went bust and drank man am I feeling it today can't or want to do anthing. Nora, I LOVE old movies, watch them all the time. SO much better than most of the crap done today.
T seems like there's either too much work or not enough. I've been run ragged this month, and when I got home a few minutes ago the tax assessors office was here, taking meausrements. (He passed on doing the dog buildings! :H).
MB, the antabuse may be your magic bullet, cause you can't even be tempted! Will give you a nice long period of sobriety to hang onto and better evaluate things. As far as the sweet tea, I wouldn't give it up if you love it, unless you feel you need to. I went nutz for sweets for a while, but no more, though I love to cook!
Off to make some calls; check in with the tenants, grands, see about memorial arrangements for friends son, and clean this pig-sty! My momma was always this busy, so I guess it's just natural. Going tomorrow to make pics of all the houses before folks get moved in. Have a great afternoon, all.

PS: Nora, another of my favorites is 'I Married A Witch', with Frederic March and Veronica Lake. She was SO gorgeous!

I am FINALLY home and COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED! The last 3 weeks of working on the old house has completely drained me physically and emotionally. When I got home last night, I found a 4 page typed letter in my mailbox from a very close friend I met here and I have poured so much of myself into helping her, telling me the reasons why she could not be my friend. It hurt my feelings so bad that I had a good cry over it. I believe basically this girl wants me to leave her alone so she could continue to drink. It seems as if I am getting a hard lesson in trusting people, which comes so naturally to me. They will lie to you, stab you in the back, steal you blind, and other things I haven't experienced yet. It feels good to be back home, among friends, even though I am physically and emotionally drained. I haven't went back to catch up, but I will shortly. I hope everyone is doing good. I haven't drank since I've been gone, but it has been so tempting just to kill the pain, but it's there the next day so what's the point? I love you all, Vicki

Vicki...you open yourself up too much to people baby. I do the same thing, but politics, religion, and now I am adding alcohol to the list, are subjects that i keep to myself unless I am REALLY close to you.
They cause such arguments and hurt feelings......
anyway...I am glad you are home and I am sorry your friend hurt you...I swear I am having a bullet proof suit made for you so no one else can hurt you...
get some rest, and did you find a realtor to manage your other house? And I hope you are pressing charges for stolen timber, especially since they did it before.
