Addiction or Disease
I am embarrased to state that I have never, in over 20 years of drinking, really tried to moderate. At times I have 'auto-moderated', at others binged, and I've had several 30 day and more AF's, but those AF's have always been 'giving up drinking until...', and I would always start again with a binge and totally forget about any notions of moderation.
