There she is - just the girl I need. Betty dear, we have a wee (?) problem here where I live. All the truckers are on strike and nothing is being delivered or picked up. Things have come to a bit of a standstill. Worst part of all as far as I'm concerned is the fact that they are not coming to haul away our sewage. Got an extra truck you can spare for a couple of weeks? I'd be very grateful if you could help out. Otherwise we're all gonna go around looking like this until the fecking strike is over...

Jackie, if this strike keeps up and they don't empty the sewage tanks soon, we won't be able to go outside whether it's hot or cold out. Was over at my sons' place on Thursday and their septic tank was already overflowing. They live in a building with 16 apartments. Their apt. is four floors up from where the septic tank is and the stench was so bad they couldn't open their balcony doors and windows. Older son told me that he had left his bedroom window open during the night several days earlier and the smell was so bad that it woke them up at 6 am. Defo not nice....
