I JUST walked in the door...went to a nice fancy dinner with the new company> I had a blast and watched everyone get drunk while I drank ice tea. But it was fun to meet and bond with everyone. And I am a nut bag sober, so I intisgated plenty of silliness.

Yes, I'm sore. Sadie's Hubs Jack Ass Russell Terror, and she has the nerve to be staring at me, wanting food. I call her Satan, because as a puppy she literally made me cry with her antics. I asked the vet if I could be arrested for shaken dog syndrome.

Good morning all - Ruby - hope that you aren't too sore - you should have had an Epsom salts bath after your fall! RC - 48 stitches in your face (how often do I echo Grateful - I think we were twins separated at birth !). My gosh!!!! And yes RC I will crack the top today I promise. on the plus side, my cold has not fully developed - it is hanging around but hasn't gone the way it would usually so a big thank you!! Oh - and re being diligent/conscientious - I am not sure - I suppose it is 'cos I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by leaving them out - or maybe 'cos I want to belong - not sure really!! LOL

Jan - it is really odd being the sober one isn't it?? Glad that you enjoyed it and also showed them that you are fun without AL (not that they know any differently!!). Good luck toda. And no, I haven't read Life without Pi. I haven't looked up that other book either - I will, for your next one!

Vicki - how are you this morning? Bird - we did finally get rain - thank goodness - along with the winds threatened too - so windy yesterday! Morning Panno - And Rog and Tony. Time - yes of course you are family, anyone who comes along here is. We take in everyone - the more the merrier!

Nora - I was down to two diet sodas yesterday - today will be two as well, then I think maybe at the weekend I will cut it to one (Gulp!!) Did you see my post where by(or on) the 6th November I will be quitting everything if I haven't already??? I am quite sure about this!!

Just tried calling Swan in hospital - her phone must be off - calling from Skype it just said to press one and it will send a text leaving the number - didn't even give me an option to leave a message! Heaven knows what number it will leave but as that is how I always call her she will know it was me. Will try again later.
