Morning all - got busy on the computer and just missed my turn in the shower. Oh well....that's ok because Son got up to get ready for his AA class. I know that this is going to get old but I'm really glad that he is being committed and realizes this is a big deal.

MB, every day AF is a cause for celebration. You've got a new chapter opening in your life, and it's exciting for all of us.
We are all each other's touchstones. When one is missing, we worry (where are you Swanny?).
I really am sorry to burden ya'll with my current circumstances, but believe me, just putting it in words is a great comfort for me. I certainly don't expect you to provide any solutions. I've been at the point where we didn't have $5 in our bank account, and I can say from experience our problems are the same, at least the ones that count, now. We do our best to raise our children with high morals and a good worth ethic. So, I'm good, just trying not to be so selfish with my time by being here too much.

Good morning everyone. I slept in. Actually I woke up at 6 this morning and my blood sugar was 670 because I fell asleep without putting my pump back on, was preoccupied, hehe! But I took a shot, went back to sleep and feel a little better now. Light housekeeping only today. I am so tired. MB, CONGRATULATIONS ON 7 DAYS! I am so proud of you! And Nora, almost a month, way to go, girl! Tony, I don't know what is wrong with the saints this year. Breez screwed up alot yesterday. Catch, so good to see you! Ruby, I completely understand, yesterday going to sunday school and getting to talk to other people felt so great! I love people and I'm isolated down here and only have you guys, so I think this is going to be good for me. We went to an older class, well, they probably the same age as us (HA!) but I have the upmost respect for older people, because they have more wisdom. Mine is an old, very long (6 pages) lease contract. I need to update it, but it covers absolutely every possibility. I've redone my application through experience over the years. I also do a signed walkthrough with each renter, have forms for where I keep their deposit, bad check letters, notice to inspect, etc etc. Had a bad check last week from one who's given me grief over the last year, but it's a felony bad check because it's over $500. Look up your states tenant/landlord laws. You'll find out what you can and can't do. I've learned I can't be vindictive, have to understand and follow the laws, but my biggest qualification for any of them is that they have a good, long, work record. Remember, people lie to you to get something. So you have to be dispassionate when listening to them.

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes for my daughter yesterday. She turned 30 on 10/10/10 (which also adds up to 30!). I honestly seem to have lost some brain cells over the weekend, so I?m not sure if I?ve already congratulated you or not MB ? but I am so glad that you got your formal letter and that you gave your notice. Plus I am so proud of you for being AF for 7 days!! You go, girl. And IAD ? I am happy for you that you?re going back to school! It?s really nice to see that things are turning around for you guys. You?ve both worked hard and waited long. Bird-I am really sorry to hear about your Sat. night-it sounds like you give so much of yourself only to get very little in return-I guess like a lot of us. All we can do is keep on trying?.Sunny, I am sorry that your Mum was negative in her letter to you?.I hope you didn?t dwell on it. I?m glad you took some time to read last night instead of painting?.it seems you rarely take any time for you. Roger?hope you are having a better day today than over the weekend. I hope Sue is feeling better & doesn?t have to have another surgery. Ruby ? how are you feeling after your terrible fall? I?m glad you are going to be getting out more often?I think it is so great that you will be volunteering with disabled children. BTW-I think your son is very handsome. What to do with the minows the fish wouldn't touch? Well, Chloe was interested in them, she even dove her nose into the water to get one. They didn't survive long out of the water like the lizards do, so she was disappointed. Hubby decided to put them in our empty acqarium and they are happy there. Thought they would stink up the water, but they didn't. Reacon how long they will last in there, until we go fishing again?

I've gotten SO much done today. Had a talk with MIL, she's getting very bad about telling me how she cries at night worrying over Rick and situation. I told her to get up and watch a movie, or read a book. What she's doing is helping no one, but upsetting everyone else.
Taylor and her friend are coming tomorrow morning to clean my house, top to bottom. Figured I'm give them the chance before I hire someone else, and I've been very clear about what has to be done. Gracie's phone is working (a prepaid one, with a camera), so she's happy. Mad is doing so well, at school and with her friends. I cracked up when I saw AB is on FB now, and she posted 'she's in a relationship'.!:H Posted back and told her I'd be talking to her! Jack and Ry are busy with their sports, son has his 'trailer' parked up on a hill in the back, so all is right with the world. Yes, Grate, son IS a handsome thing, and such a good catch I worry about the women who are trying to catch him now. He's been lonely a long time, but always puts his girls first.

Cute Pooch Vicki.......fishies too ! My daughter has fish...joy ! Ha! I've been messing with my sister today had her 3 month appt. over at Hopkins Medical Center. ( After going their....I feel like taking out a few Docs myself.......member that stand of last week or so...Ha!) My sister is wheel chair bound...so my mother needs my help.
