Awe Irie - that is so wonderful!!! My husband has said that to me often in my recovery and I'm glad you posted about it so I can step back and fully appreciate how wonderful that is. I am not going to drink today because my marriage is SO much better without AL being the evil interloper.

I am not going to drink today because there is no good reason to drink and I also have a very ugly bottom that could kill me the next time. I am living on borrowed time now.

I have a really ugly bottom and I don't show it to anyone, not even my spousal unit, (SU) who has lived with the ugly bottom for 36 years.

But, mostly, I won't drink today because if I did, I could not follow this thread carefully and laugh.
