So, I went home for lunch and did the dishes, put away the laundry, emptied the dishwasher and took the trash out. I normally spend my lunch time having lunch, but I will not let her run over me. I have to feel like I am helping the family out! It is probably going to either piss her off and end up in her telling me how wrong I did everything, OR, it will just go unnoticed. Either way, i don't care. I have been through enough in my life to let this crap win! I took a chance, stuck my neck out and now I am back to square one. That is fine. Sorry for venting everyone! Enough about me for the day.

Zach, this is such a bitch anyway and difficult to get a handle on, but it must be harder when you're dealing with a bully. I think you are dealing with a bully (and sorry if that is offensive, it is not intended that way). You haven't committed a grievous sin - you are suffering from a malady.

I'm glad that you are determined not "to let the crap win." Because she is, IMO, putting out a ton of crap. Don't buy into it; just do the best you can to recover from the malady. If you can get other people on your side in real life, that would be a very good thing.

Trapped I think it's great that you showed you are not giving up and showed it in a very positive way. I strongly suggest you go along for a few days at least with this approach. I wouldn't go fishing for praise or compliments either. She needs to get over a betrayal. If that approach doesn't soften her heart then she does need some assistance to deal with this too.

Hi all - I am back from work - Trap - I am so sorry about how you are feeling. I agree with the others though - she is just reeling from the shock of it all. you are doing this the right way = don't move into a hotel - you have done nothing wrong - you are fighting a really hard battle here and you need her support not this BS that she is giving you. You are not Superman and this is a really hard thing to beat. She needs to understand that. Doesn't she realise how hard you are trying already?????? I really feel for you and am sending huge hugs your way. You are an amazing young man dear Zack and are doing so well already. don't let this pull you down. Back off from her and give her space. And I agree with Jan - take the AD's. They take a few weeks to kick in but they really do help. Re the unfortunate SE that you are having - I don't know any men that are on it so wasn't aware of that being a SE. I can understand that that doesn't help. You have my number - call if you need to talk - maybe I should have placed this sentence in a different part of the paragraph. LOL.

Seriously, your mood and outlook will VASTLY improve in about 6 to 8 weeks. They, whoever they is, say you should not make any major life decisions when depressed. Let things level out and then see what happens. Maybe her anger and the way you are feeling right now could be viewed as a good thing. You will hopefully rememeber this anger and misery the next time the demon calls.

I sent off about 20 resumes for various jobs. I got my ass out of bed and quit feeling sorry for myself. I took my antabuse........Nora?????????
Ran errand and went to el cheapo meat market on the other side of the tracks...they sell the GROSSEST stuff as many ethic groups shop there. Goat, chicken feet, chitlins, intestines, ox tail, beef neck...wasn;t sure if I was buying groceries or voodoo supplies!!!
I also applied for unemployment and left a message with the attorney.

I dunno, MB. I worked one holiday season at Walmart when I was in college and was rather shocked at the stuff that people eat ? brains, and hooves and stuff. I can?t even get gizzards or liver into my mouth! But I cook them up for husband, whose family tells stories of enjoying eating a young ?goat? (which I guess would qualify as lamb, which isn?t helpful since I like lamb about as much as I like moose ? which is NOT AT ALL). I really enjoy beans cooked up with smoked hocks (never cooked greens, but I understand it?s the same process?).

I also read once that chicken?s feet make for a very good chicken broth ? and they are what turns the broth the yellow color that we all know from Campbell?s soup. Don?t know and ain?t buying chickens feet. That?s why (said the Atheist) God made Campbell?s chicken broth, so I don?t have to deal with chickens? feet!

well HONEY IM HOME ... HEHEHEHE long day got alot of things done and even got another job doing R&R countertop and tearout one cabinet to fit dishwasher ,install sink and moving doors to another cabinet and to easy actes...START ON FRIDAY WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE .. HAD A GREAT MONDAY ..

Well I think November is going to be a good month for the shifters. I don't usually single out people as I don't really post much but want to say to Trap........ hang in there.
Your wife should probably go to an Alanon meeting where they will tell her how hard this is for you too. Sounds like she won't but it would do her some good. As for you do not run. You will only take the problems with you and leave the kids who need a Dad wondering what they did wrong. Please hang in there and see if you can't get your wife to give you some support. It may not be much at first but every little bit is a step forward. In the meantime you need to understand that a drink will only make matters worse and what ever you have to do to make it another minute without a drink is what you have to do. And stick around this family. They truly are amazing!!!!!!!!
MB- So glad you filed for unemployment. Again they will have to state their reasons for termination which will help you.
To the rest of "the family" keep your asses in gear and have a great month!!
