good morning one and all ... rc have a safe trip girl please take it slow and enjoy your drive your quik get away ... panno sounds like a great time enjoy and happy brithday to your daughter... well yesterday went great on the job and alot done and might just be able to get'er done today ... but no rush ... and i got my son anthony here to give me some help and learn a few things ...and well on a bad note coco was taken to the vet and had to get surgery done to remove from her small intestines ..a nut from one of the tree we have here in the yard ... the bill is set as 3000.00 which uncle is paying for ...and she will be back with us shortly...playing with her toys and having fun ...thank god ...

and well after reading that one thread last night and seeing how some people love to have just bullshit damma here at the site its a shame and well i got pissed off when someone in chat started saying safe zone...saying that its just enabling the ones that keep on having slips ... and well my feelings on that is that hey i know most of everyone that is an alcoholic as myself will have one hell of a road to travel to get where they want to be in life .. its not easy but yes it is doable ...
i will never forget all the things i have done while i was drinking and to others and the things that push me into drinking in the first place .. i feel that you get better out come .. by using everything you or i have been thur ..soft love and its working all of you have done very well in the short and long time you have been postng on this thread and that right there shows ...
im very proud to call you all friends,our small cyber family ...
and well my point to the whole thing is dont forget who you were and how you got here ...use what you have been thur to push you even harder use it to help someone learn and be open to their feeling and do it as you would want it done to you ...with love and compassion,understand ..reach out and help...

Good Morning all - Rog, what an awesome post - thank you from the bottom of my little cotton socks!!!!! I agree with you totally. I too am proud to call you all my friends, here in our cyber family! I know the others will agree too. What a lovely post to get up to! wonderful.

Panno - until I was promoted a year and a half ago, I used to work the 6 - 2 shift and would go to the gym for an hour BEFORE work - I am an early bird. however, with the promotion came occasional closing shifts so it was hard initially to stay up as late as 11.00 !! The gym went out the window! Even on my day off I still get up early as long as I didn't close the night before. But my body took a long time to re-train!! It still wakes up early - but does go back to sleep.

I have to get running this morning - have to go and be fingerprinted. (Should I tell or leave you all hanging?). No - have to have my ID card registered on the base and I figured if I get there early there might not be a queue. Ever hopeful that's me!!

Love and hugs - day off today so will be around. love and hugs to all.

Sleep is diff for me, and just switching beds takes a0while. No Nora, keep putting the changeover. ? At least I can keep up with u buds from here. Darn I lost my post. Good pic tony of your son. Trap hate to tell you but it doesnt get any easier with the kids. Kinda miss those baby days. Sun I am an early riser too. Usually up before the day breaks. Usually up all night lately..hahah T that is good about coco. Made a pot of chili since it is cold now. Have to enjoy the cold while its here because next week it might be 90 the way it goes. Been working on my kids timeline slideshow for xmas which has turned into a monumental task. Cant believe the amount of pics I have taken over the years. Guess I should practice now. Have jazz band this afternoon..later

Well, good morning to all my friends. I'm kind of leary about posting after reading all the drama, but I miss you guys. I did talk to Vicki Tuesday night..I believe she is still at her parents for now, but I will try to call her later today...I definitely don't want her to be hurt by anything that was written. She is such a sweet person and not everybody knows her story...it is a rough one and she really tries as hard as she can..who knows what we would do in her shoes? RC-I think it is wonderful that you are taking a vacation and going to visit Ruby....I'm thinking I need to plan a get away one of these days. Have a great - and safe trip. There is so much that I want to say right now, but can you believe that Miss Addison just woke up??? It seems she knows when I get on the computer. So, for now, I am off. Thank you so much to everyone who has written and called me this past week....yes, I have been going thru some "stuff" with my family....but we all have "stuff", don't we? I am trying to keep my chin up (Sunshine) and trying to remember that God doesn't give me more than He thinks I can handle.

tirgs, good post. I was sitting in a parenting class for work last night and the facilitator was wonderful. He used examples and role play to demonstrate that children do not respond well to authoritarian approaches, and few of us have the personalities to respond in a healthy manner to them either. I kept thinking about what happened on that other thread, and unhelpful stuff I've posted myself on MWO, and how this thread reflects the good approach, which included things like using a soft voice, tons of compassion, structuring the environment but not letting yourself mistakenly believe that you can actually control someone else's behavior, etc. Anyway, it was a minor epiphany for me.

Love the pic, Tony. TD, your posts cracked me up! Ruby, glad you are safely tucked away at the cabin. It's going to be fun to hear about when you and RC get together. Grateful, good to see you. I hope Vicki isn't hurt - it's was just mean-spirited brainlessness from someone who didn't have the guts to post it here - in the safe zone.
