Actually when I read it back it does look healthy, fat contents a bit high but I bought it as a treat.

Okay. I was just curious about the feta part. Here it's made with strained yogurt, meaning that it's had some of the liquid removed, grated cucumber that you squeeze all of the juice out of, fresh chopped dill, olive oil, vinegar and salt to taste. And a a couple of cloves of garlic grated to give it a good punch.JackieClaire;1002534 wrote: It's ready made
I'm sure the ready made will be lovely. They experiment so much to get the taste just right before they put it on the market.
Oney what kind of veggies do you like? You know I hated beets when I was young because of the way my Mother made them. And now I love them. I think it has a lot to do with how their prepared and what you put on them - different dressings, etc. I could give you a few ideas. They're really big on veggies here and have some wonderful recipes...For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

I'd make a big salad out of the lot of them except the potato and the tomato and put a lovely Italian dressing on them. You know, like Kraft or some other brand name. You can eat all of them except the peas raw if you want. Here they boil or steam the broccoli and then serve it with olive oil and lemon juice. Peas are wonderful cooked in a tomato sauce with chopped up onions and dill and add some potatoes chunks for about 10 minutes at the end. Use olive oil in the sauce as well. I also make a mixed salad with romaine lettuce, arugula, fresh dill, chopped tomato (optional) and grated cheese (parmesan type) or crumbled feta with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. Lovely baked veggies as well if you like zucchini, eggplant and green peppers. Anyway, just a few suggestions..one2many;1002539 wrote: I can't do beetroot, just can't ..there is a reason but cannot post it on the boards....
