. Sorry you've been having a hard time KTAB. Good for you that you have your plan B.:l I'm doing ODAT-well, sometimes one minute at a time. It's not even so much that I'm craving a drink as that I just don't like my "moods" up and feeling good and then just wanting to hide under the duvet. In the past, drinking "helped" to numb the worries. Of course it did NOTHING to help matters at the end of the day. Quite the opposite. So I won't even talk about the ongoing financial problems-but this is a huge stress factor. Trying to look at the positive side of things-good health, great kids (most of the time
) I have a job etc blah, blah, blah. I've heard people use the expression "Get your big girl pants on"-so time to work on my problems and be an adult. Being an adult is fecking scary sometimes, isn't it?:upset:
Best wishes to everyone else. I'm a new kid on the block, day one today, taken the first valium thing and am about much use as a chocolate teapot... Don't know, don't care too much how i feel, but reckon i am on the way to becoming a thread slut
The nuns that taught me at primary school used to say an empty vessel makes the most noise - well, i've filled and emptied more than my fair share of vessels and am hoping the only noises i'll be making from now on are the sober ones....
