GOOD MORNING Good Old Furry Alarm Clock did it again. Oh well. I love him anyway. It is very chilly here again today - I suppose par for the course seeing as it is winter in Illinois! Hope that you all had a good nights sleep and that you are feeling better - Sue, Jan, Ruby, Grateful, Nora and anyone else who was feeling poorly! Today is my last day off and I plan to actually do stuff as opposed to lazing around which I have done for the past two days - might even get to my ironing LOL - unless you would care to pop over Jan? Oh - I like your new avatar - love the Bernstein bears - used to get all their books when the children were little! And I can't take pics of dogs until I get my camera fixed.

I am sure that you will be here soon Bird - hope all is well with you this morning. Vicki - how did things go yesterday? RC, I wish you would come and just say Hi to us - we miss you. Well, I think I might run the hoover through now and get that over and done with - hubs stays at his mums on a Saturday night in case she needs any help with anything then he takes her out to breakfast, so I can make noise Sunday Mornings. Good morning everyone, I hope you have a great day. Rog, I am glad your wife is feeling better - nice stonework by the way. We are finally starting to have winter like weather again, finally. My kids and I had to take a few days off from ice fishing and skiing, and hopefully today we can get back at it today or tomorrow. Three days of vacation left, it goes so fast. However, it goes much slower, when sober. Don't you find, weekends and Holidays last longer sober? Take care,

LOL Hill - my three days off are FLYING BY - I want them to slow down. I get my new vacation days starting at the beginning of Jan - and it is so tempting to put in for some but the schedule for Jan is already made out. I am really enjoying my time off though - but today must DO stuff! You sound as if you are enjoying your time off - and yes, it is great sober! Hugs to you,

I slept late this a.m. Well I was awake before and rooster was crowing his head off but fell back asleep. Yes Hill I think time goes by much more slowly when sober. I find myself looking for projects or planning one cuz I know when I get bored I will want to drink....friends trying to do without this diet pepsi is driving me insane. It may be worse than al....well Gold good to see you on the boards and Pan...T your bbq is off to a good start. ....Grateful good for you to take some time for youself...MB hope you are doing a bit better....well it is raining here . I need to make some rice and lentils to get me through the week so I dont have to cook. Kids go back to school tues and I can get back to routine...diet pepsi diet pepsi diet pepsi diet pepsi,,this is what my brain is doing...later

Good morning Panno, Hill, Bird, Sweet Sunny & Roger and everyone else to come. I slept in this morning...don't really like when I do that, but I guess my body needed it. Roger-I'm glad that Sue slept last night...I bet you were sleeping with one ear open. Maybe you can take a nap today. It's raining here, but still warm. It's supposed to get colder towards the end of next week with more snow possible. I plan to spend most of the day working on bills and paperwork with a few loads of wash thrown in - but no ironing!! I could always send my ironing out to Sunny or Jan. :H I made a big pot of chicken corn soup yesterday so that I can take some to my sweet mother-in-law who is losing too much weight. She just turned 80 and I worry so much about her.

I think I'll go get another cup of coffee and think about getting dressed.......I'll be back later to check in all my friends.

Hey everybody...Theraflu knoocked me out and I slept late too, but I was coughing most of the night....
I am showered and off to the grocery...am going to be using the crock pot alot now that Mommy and Daddy are going back to work

Where is Ruby? See Bird....if you would ahve named the rooster Roger, he wouldn't be waking you up. he would be whispering in your ear and flirting like our Roger does to all of us!!!

Grateful, send your ironing this way.....but must have a delicious food substance in package when it arrives. Dont care what it is, but I know you cook.
