Hallo everyone - I am in from work. quiet here today. I have just cooked a mushroom pizza pie for my dins - yum !! ruby - I have to be honest with you - I will not be coming to the meetup. Ben will not be ready to come to anything with lots of people by summer - I know he won't - you haven't seen him. I would worry about something scaring him and him running off. He is fine with me but other people freak him out - I walked him the other morning and he almost hung himself on the lead when a couple of joggers went by - and that was early morning when no-one else was around - it is going to take a LONG time to get him used to other people. I cannot leave him behind. Fennel - you made me laugh saying that you sleep in a tree house!! There is a path leading from our fence to the bird feeder (in the snow) and Hubs asked me if I had made it (for the squirrels!!!). No - I love feeding the birds and the squirrels but I didn't make them a path - they can make their own!! LOL

Vicki - hugs to you and I do hope that you are feeling better soon - I hate that feeling of feeling down. Probably the aftermath of the fire - that really must have been scary and has probably just hit you now.

Jan my friend I miss seeing your posts - I know you are at work, but I do miss seeing your posts. Hopefully once you get caught up there, you will have a bit more time to post? I do hope so.

I need to go and do my ironing LOL

Hi Family
I love you all and have plenty of silly retorts, but I just got off the phone with my father and am devestated.
Some of you know I have family issues, but he collapsed in a public bathroom and was throwing up blood and passing it too.
Turns out he has a huge stomach ulcer AND A TUMOR. They have told him is is some type of lymphoma. I am so sad and mad at the same time. I know our parents pass, but not my sweet father. Not yet.
I am ok..just kind of stunned. Hubs is here beside me. I will know what kind of treatment he is facing next week. He was not given a death sentence by any means, but it is still upsetting and really puts things in perspective.

grateful love the pocs girl .. you have an awesome yard and great views ... and hey thats how i take pics on my phone and send them to my email ..and download them to my computer and up load them to photo bucket...so much easy ...
well tomorrow i have both my boys working with me on this job laying tile ..going to be lots of fun..
and today went great got one room layed and ready for grout...so ill have one doing the grouting and me laying tile with the other ...and i have to say its great to have them now older to where they can work with and learn ... but anyway me tired and my knees hurt ...

Oh Jan! I'm so sorry about the news. When we have good parents we're never ready to face losing them. He's in a good place for the best care, so I hope he'll see the best doctor for treatment he can find. I hope you can go spend some time with him too.You're welcome to stay with me if the house gets too full of people. Talk to him as often as you can; it will help you to hear how he's doing and help him to know how much you care.You're all in my prayers, sweetie. If you want to PM me his address, I'll send him a card (just that I'm a friend of yours).
Sun, the best thing I ever did was to start taking Hub's shirts to a service. I don't mind a little ironing, but a fresh, starched shirt every day was REALLY a lot of trouble. Cheaper too for me to send them out. I'm disappointed about you not coming, but I won't count you out just yet. Things change. I've about decided I won't bring Berit, since she doesn't like people she doesn't know coming in the house without me. Prob the best thing to do is leave her in her yard/house, so there won't be any accidents. Prob only bring Tink, since she mourns when I'm gone.
Hope everyone else shows up eventually. It has been 'the dead zone' here today. I'm worried about RC. Wish she'd hurry up and post. And Swan, Tony, everyone!!

Oh Rubes - most of the ironing was mine - and I wouldn't dream of sending it to the cleaners! I catch up on stuff I have recorded on TV when I iron - in fact I did all of mine and didn't touch Hubs!!! His is mainly t-shirts and sweatshirts for work, and jeans. he has enough that I didn't need to do any yet. I now have all of mine caught up thank goodness! I need to go and shower and hair wash so I don't need to hair wash in the morning - earlies tomorrow. Yes, I wish Swannie would post - I think she is ticked 'cos of the mention of the care package for her. I said No for Pete's sake!! I hope that Jan's dad is okay - Jan - please let us know how he does won't you? Oh - I have e-mailed Swannie too but I haven't heard from her either - I hope she is okay. I am hoping that the pneumonia hasn't come back. i can't even call her as she doesn't have a phone. anyway I am going to shower - back to say goodnight later.

Ello folks. Physically tired, mentally exhausted, emotionally wrecked but still spiritually hopeful
Got myself regular dial up at home-might be short lived....Sorry for not being around much but girls gotta do.....biz not good one bit. I've tapped almost everything. One last attempt at refinancing--if it ain't a go then down it goes. Got an interest in the room rental today and have been looking at further education. Paralegal is my first interest. Looking at a few possibilities--who knows might be on the street soon(confused thingy) Never thought I'd be in this position especially at this stage.

Mama your dad could take pure whole leaf aloe vera juice with a PINCH of cayenne a few times a day--start slow/build up. It's amazing for ulcers. Hang in there girl. Make sure you're taking your multi and stuff too. We burn up vits/mins big time with emotional and mental stress too--not just physical activity. You need to replace them to keep up. You've been through so much this last while. ((hugs))

Sunny you little iron bunny. Nice pics Grateful. Looks live a lovely space to live in. Bird you amaze me--what can I say. You do a great job with what you have and enjoy it. Would love to hear you play someday. Vicki so glad you're safe--sorry about the trees but your land will grow back lusher than ever.
