Good morning friends. Ruby-I'm so glad that your daughter is out of surgery and doing good. That is a relief. It's not so easy taking care of little ones at our age, is it? Since I usually keep my granddaughter every weekend I definitely know the feeling but I am glad that you are there for your daughter and s-i-l.

Well, I finally made it to work although it took 45 minutes just getting out of our driveway...we also lost power so had to finish getting ready at work. We have trees falling down all around us with the weight of the ice....such a mess!

That was a fun birthday party last night...although I didn't even get any crumbs....Swannie....I bet your tummy feels punky today with all the cake you ate!! I hope your headache feels better soon. I heard the groundhog didn't see his shadow..duh...and Spring is right around the corner....I am NOT holding my breath!!

Well, I have to run now and put out fires here at the office........love to all.

Oh Grateful - I am SO sorry that you lost power - I have a generator that you are welcome to borrow - have no idea how to start it but you are welcome to borrow it. I thought there was some of the 2nd cake left...... unless Swannie started on that one too.....

Hope the storm passes over quickly - we just have snow flurries today - our store is opening at 11.00 but things are starting to get back to normal. Govt buildings are still closed though.

After reading, I think Swannie is off somewhere in a cake coma!!
I'm sitting in front of daughters fireplace, TV and house to myself for a moment. I'm not even showered yet! Please, no deep breaths. I walked their golden and Tinker a bit ago, stepped in something I KNOW did not come from Tink, another clean up! :H Have to say, the kids have a schedule and they do it, and AB was a (devilish) little trooper. Told her Dad to be sure and give her the props for all her help. Daughter is goofy as all get out right now. LOVE IT!!! She's usually so in control.

Daughter is home, finally tucked safely in her bed, out to the world. She came stumbling into the kitchen, trying to make a pot of coffee, wouldn't let me help. SIL and I asked what she was doing, she said, 'I've got to walk this off, got to wake up.' Of course she won't today, or remember it, but her recovery is going to be longer than expected, and she's NOT going to like it. I'm making the kids chicken dumplings tonight, so all is taken care of here. Thanks again for all your support.

Lots of wood and food Sunni. At times I look out and think I should head out now but I'm staying put. I rarely watch the news and catch the radio in the morning as it is the most relevant but then they play the same forecast all day. Most times just best to look outside. Therefore the low cig sitiation Sunni. I don't think I'll chew my arm off. xo

Howdy all ! I find myself like a critter in the middle of the road .....Ha! ( Think that one is dead though ! Ha ! ) My wife breaks her leg and needs me to take care of her and here I finally get the call I've been waiting for to get into my work program and start earning some money from the VA ! I'ld be be working part time ( 9 - 1 ) and be home by 2:00. I have to accept the program....we need the money. She tells me that she'll have a girlfriend check on her at lunch time while I'm working. I feel bad....but we need the money. Oh well this year is sure starting out like a fart in a Tarerrium.....can't get away from the smell ! Ha! I shall over come though ! Ha! Keep Jammin' man ! Tony
